Friendly and knowledgable staff, ideal location just off Grand Place so easy to walk to the sights, bars, restaurants and shops although a cab ride from the airport or the two main train stations. Where it lets itself down is where the franchise management for this particular Ibis Hotel, have decided that tea and coffee making facilities are not provided in the standard double rooms. Why? It is provided in other Ibis we have stayed in. This policy is annoying and will encourage guests to seek breakfast elsewhere thereby missing out on revenue for the hotel. This is definitely not the fault of the staff. In our humble opinion, not having these facilities in the room is a negative for this hotel. But, other than that, everything else was good.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights here! The location cannot be beat! Literally in the middle of everything, close to the main square and the train station! We did not have any issues with loud sounds, the staff was helpful and housekeeping was efficient! Loved it!

A very mixed bag

The good; great staff, excellent location, impressive breakfast. The bad; one of the worst hotel rooms we’ve ever had. The room was so small that there was no room for a bedside table on one side. You can’t walk past each other as there’s no space. The AC didn’t work (it operated just as a fan). On the 5th floor in the eaves, it was hot - 34 degrees when I checked in the middle of the night. Opening the window meant the noise from outside was horrendous. And before hotel management say that there are upgrade rooms available - we’d paid for a premium room. I dread to think what a standard room is like. We normally really like Ibis, so we hope this is a one-off piece of bad luck.

Our windows are designed to be soundproof to minimize street noise, and we regret if this was not sufficient during your stay. Furthermore, we are concerned about your comments regarding the room upgrade and the towel replacement policy. Our environmental policy typically replaces towels that are left on the floor to conserve water and energy, aligning with our sustainability goals. Not worth the price

A very well located hotel, in the ultra-central area, with a high price ( the price is higher than at a 4-star hotel in Downtown, Manhattan ), and unjustified accommodation conditions to display 3 stars. The rooms are poorly equipped, they do not have a refrigerator ( just like in a 2-star hotel ), the bathroom is not very clean and does not have good facilities, the breakfast is poor, unjustified for a hotel located in the center of a European capital. The good part is that in the very close area you can find many tourist attractions, points of interest, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops of all kinds.
