Pros: The hotel is in an amazing location, just steps away from the Grand Place. It’s a nice-looking property and the staff was polite and helpful. Cons: Unfortunately, our night was a disaster. The room (no. 208) was incredibly hot, and the air conditioning was not providing any cooling. I woke up at 2:00 AM drenched in sweat. We tried opening the window to get some air, but because of the central location, the street noise was far too loud to keep it open. I called reception at 3:00 AM, and they confirmed that the cooling system was not available, offering only a small desk fan as a solution. This did almost nothing to lower the temperature. We didn’t sleep at all and ended up leaving the hotel at 6:00 AM feeling exhausted. It is very disappointing that such a well-located hotel cannot provide a basic comfortable temperature for its guests to rest.

We wrapped up our family trip to Europe with a couple of days in Belgium. The front desk staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean and well kept. The hotel is also right near the Grand Platz and a few minutes walk to Brussels Central Station which was great since we took the train to Bruges and Ghent.

Fortunately, my overall stay experience was very good, as I was warmly welcomed, the accommodation was very clean and well arranged, the room was made available slightly before the scheduled check-in time, and the check-out process was also quite fast and hassle-free.
