Check in was good, but communication between departments wasn’t. A nice room. Usual breakfast items in a nice bright room, however the evening meal selection is not very good, not even haddock for,a fish it’s pollock.

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom the same. Bed was comfy. Outdated double glazing which didn't really work. No gym even though on the app it was advertised. Had to wait 10 mins in the bar for someone to come and serve me, only to be told the beer I wanted wasn't available. Tried to order a bottle of wine only to be told they only had a large glass of that particular wine left! Food was well cook and fairly quick service. Hotel offered and advertised everywhere a bottle of Prosecco for £15 on a Friday night. I ordered one only to be told they didn't have any of that Prosecco......at 1900hrs. So why advertise it everywhere?

The hotel and room itself were good but I didn’t get any sleep. I stayed in room 15 and there was some kind of generator that’s very noisy near by I’d stay again but not on the ground floor. It was awful a terrible nights sleep. You need to supply ear plugs if you expect guests to sleep near that.

Loud generator directly outside room. Request to be moved ignored. Followed by maintenance right outside my room with banging and drilling for a whole day. No prior warning, just a note in the lift when I arrived.
