We stayed overnight with our two dogs. This was our first time at Tankersley Manor so we didn’t know what to expect. We had a meal that evening in the bar area, which was good. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

The food and the staff were great 👍 The communication from the spar let it down as I didn’t receive any emails or messages from them asking or telling us what was on offer ( the treatments) I wanted a Swedish Massage but was told that I had to upgrade. How can I upgrade when I don’t know? Also a Swedish Massage is a 45/50 min treatment I still had a 50 min treatment so don’t understand the logic behind this? (I am a fully qualified massage therapist) The rooms are in need of a refurb as the carpet and chairs are marked and look dirty. I hope this constructive criticism helps you understand what is needed to enhance your hotel and spa

Alot of things right, i:e comfy bed great shower and breakfast, but Conference bar area poor and staff average. Rooms a little tired and dusty curtain rail etc.
