We stayed here for 7 nights during a pre-business trip. Very good hotel but just missing the final touch to get 4 stars. It is missing its last star because of:
1. the AC in the room. Being 35+ degrees with a humidity of 67% outside the AC in all rooms, according the technician, was controlled centrally. This to avoid the floors in the room becoming wet, which exactly happened in our room on the third floor. After noticing this to the reception we were not able to modify the air conditioning in the room anymore. It helped to keep the floor dry but it made it quite cold in the room with a fixed temperature set at 22,3 degrees C. Ok, to cool off but uncomfortable for a longer stay in the room. The technician showed us a workaround by moving the switch on the electricity board to off.
2. poor wifi in the room. We had to sit by the window to get a good reception.
That were the negatives, but many positives, like the staff. They really go the extra mile to make you feel a true guest. The breakfast; plenty of choice, even nutella ;) The well maintained pool. The free to use garage. The 2 restaurants of which the Indian is well recommended. The upgraded big room with good beds.

The rooms were great; however, I had a very disappointing experience with a member of the hotel staff during the transportation of our luggage from the room to my car.
The staff member asked us to go ahead to the car while he brought our luggage down. He then took approximately 30 minutes to bring the bags down using the lift. When I checked my luggage at the airport, I noticed that the bags were significantly lighter and that several items were missing, including approximately 3 kg of Ajwa dates.
Given the circumstances and the fact that the luggage was under the staff member’s control for an extended period, I am extremely concerned that the missing items were taken during this process. I have already submitted a formal complaint to the hotel and requested that the CCTV footage be reviewed to establish what happened and identify the staff member involved.
I expect the hotel to investigate this matter seriously and, if the investigation confirms wrongdoing, to take appropriate disciplinary and legal action against the staff member.
This is extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standard of service I would expect from the hotel.

It was generally good. But I would say there was damp in the rug and would suggest airing of them or changing them often. Possibility to open a window slightly even if not entirely. The rooms are damp
