Overall, my stay was decent. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was generally good. However, my arrival experience was disappointing. I arrived late on the first night and was given a room with two very small beds, even though I had booked a king room. The room was also at the very end of the corridor with a poor view overlooking the back of the hotel. I was told the hotel was fully booked and that this was the only available room, with a promise to change it the next day. The following day, I requested a king room on a higher floor. They did move me to a king room, but it was still on a lower floor. Again, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that no better options were available. Other than that, the room was fine. The breakfast was average and could have been better. The checkout experience was also frustrating. I was left waiting at reception for quite a while because one staff member was handling another guest’s check-in. When I asked if there was anyone else available to assist, I was told to wait in a dismissive manner. It was only after another guest pointed out that someone else should help that the receptionist went inside and brought out a colleague, who had apparently been available all along and then completed my checkout. Overall, the hotel was acceptable, but the room allocation and customer service at reception could definitely be improved.
