I booked with high hopes and excitement having stayed at Ibis before in 2023 with my husband.But my excitement was dashed on arrival.Check in was long and not transparent.I booked for 2 nights different bookings as the first night was a reward night.I took time for the first time to send a message through the app as to my wishes during stay.I requested for a high floor room overlooking the sea as that's my mother's dream.Not only I got neither but git 2 rooms on separate floors.I was very clear on my 2 nights stay during check in but I was surprised when my mother called that she was locked out of her room. I called reception and was told to come down.I told them I took medicine as I have a bad cold and too tired after umrah so I will come down in the evening.And was told that it was cos I didn't pay for the rooms.And was asked wether I want to check out or stay.I told him I will rather check out after all the humiliation.So I left.
