I used to book through booking.com in all accor hotels everywhere I go, I'm Genius level 3 on booking, and I decided to start do my hotels booking directly on ALL accor website. It's not my first time to stay in Ibis Jeddah, but even with online check in, I waited more than 15min to get my room key, hotel fully booked with only one guy doing the check in for the guests, and the others people just rooming around!!! The next day AC was not working in the restaurant and when I asked to have my meal in the room they refused, they said not allowed!!! (My booking was including breakfast) I advise to the management to spend more time to train the staff for better customer service, or to hire people with better customer service skills.

I have stayed in this hotel twice before (including last year) I even left positive reviews at then BUT I don’t know what went wrong this time. Why my experience this time was so horrible. Where do I begin from? Firstly, let me start from the beginning. I always book my room from their official website “all Accor” and include breakfast as well. The moment I tried to check in at the reception, they accuse me for not adding breakfast. I told them to look carefully they should have all my booking details as I’ve also booked it through their official website. Even after showing confirmation email of booking that clearly includes “bed and breakfast” I was still struggling to make them believe. One of the receptionist was even telling me that “I only paid for the room. If I did added breakfast then the cost would have been even more” I THEN HAD TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER TO INVESTIGATE AND THEY FOUND OUT THAT I INDEED INCLUDE BREAKFAST! (I have attached the confirmation of booking so people and the staffs of ibis Jeddah can see) Secondly, day before my check out one of the receptionist given me check out till 3 in the afternoon. I did confirm with him twice! On the day of check around 1 in the afternoon I had staff knocking on my door saying; “why haven’t I check out yet? What am I still doing in the room?” How embarrassing it was for me only I can express! Due to poor and lazy customer service these Arab staffs giving customers hard time. I visit Jeddah every year but this is my last time staying in ibis Jeddah.
