My flight was cancelled. The Ibis Budget is within walking distance of Montpellier airport where I got a room at short notice at a reasonable price

It is a basic and clean hotel. No frills however a poorly run and expensive bar/restaurant. The staff are expected to multi task resulting in poor customer service. Not their fault but not the service you normally receive in France.

I often stay at this location because it is not in a congested area. There is free parking, which is easily accessed. Also the staff is friendly. They have a nice restaurant with good food and the rooms are extremely clean. Finally, A gas Station is located one block away and the major highways are closer than they would be if I stayed in Montpellier.
