- Every morning the cleaner persistently knocked on our door, despite “DO NOT DISTURB”, effectively disturbing our sleep. (All my group complained too , so not just me) - weird security. All of our group DON JULIO car went in and out for 4 days with the same people & car, also with a sign on the window saying we’re from don julio, but everytime we came in, they always ask us again what is our needs(?) - My bathroom sink always clogged! Everyday we have to ask for service. Nothing was fixed

Arrived early and managed to have a room prepared and the front desk team was absolute amazing! (Sorry I couldn’t recall her name) and elite members were recognised and offered me a free dinner as there wasn’t a lounge within the property. Many amazing staff working around the property as well and this will be my choice when visiting Bali again in the future!

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our daughter's 8th birthday and she loved every minute of it. From the mirror writting, complimentary cake and doll. The pool is amazing and the kids club is so much fun. Ordered a few items from IRD and the food was good as well. One suggestion i can make is about the slamming doors. It seems like some of the room doors dont have soft-close hinge, and at night we could hear some slamming every now and then; something that definitely can be easily mitigated. Good experience nontheless..

We had three generations staying for five nights and we all had a fabulous time. The resort catered to all our needs. The staff are very attentive and they all go out of their way to ask if everything is ok or if you need something. The multiple swimming areas and kids play areas in the pools were great. We all had so much fun. The chefs need a hearty pat on the back! Throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner, the food was superb and a great variety was offered. Needless to say we loved chocolate hour! What a great idea 😍. There is a shopping area, Samasta, next door to the resort and there were enough restaurants, cafes, ice cream shop and a variety of other shops to keep us entertained. They also have a free cultural dance show there twice a night. They got the kids up to dance with them at the end of there show which was super cute. We ‘indulged’ in the cocktail happy hour at the roof top bar and had tacos twice! It’s a great spot for a wind down at the end of the day. My granddaughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff dressed their room with birthday greetings and a little surprise cake. It was done so well and she got such a lovely surprise. The staff at breakfast also came to the table and sang happy birthday to her and gave her some little cakes. Just so thoughtful and lovely.🥰 The kids both went to the kids club for a couple of hours a couple of times, which they asked to do after going for a visit. They had a great time there. Overall our stay was superb and the best place we have stayed in Bali. This was our third holiday to the island. We would happily return to Movenpick Resort!
