It was only one night business trip. a very short stay. however there are two points you need to pay attention to. - The AC was very cold although we've increased it to the maximum allowable (24 C). we tried called maintenance twice but no one showed up. we ended up having to turn off the AC all together - I was surprised that such a hotel doesn't open the gym until 10am (most business meetings start much earlier). similar hotels have it open 24/7 with guest access card. However, luckily the team at the front desk offered to open it when I come down at 6am (thanks !)

Was not the best experience to have in a 5 Star hotel. There was keys shortage they could not give us more than one key. There was a system problem, The room door would not open , I had to go over to the reception then someone came with me to open the door. I had to go back to the reception to reprogram my key same night. Dinner buffet did not have good variety. Plus the food was NOT even warm. We asked for extra pillows and blankets they brought us one blanket only, because there was a shortage. The breakfast buffet was OK but the pastries donuts waffles we are not good quality maybe they were not fresh. I have to say the stay was not worth the money paid for at all. I need to mention that the receptionists were very friendly and kind the best part of the experience was the check-in and check-out.

Firstly, I booked my room through phone and no one asked me for credit card or anything after one hour they started to contact me if I didn’t show they will cancel my reservation i asked them to take my credit card details but they refused, i had to drive so quickly to guarantee my booking which is not professional at all. Second day they didn’t clean my room all day although I left the room from noon.

The customer service in the hotel was extremely poor. This was our first time staying at Movenpick AlKhobar and we hope not to go back there again. From the time we checked in at the reception where we were not informed about the timings of the restaurant nor about the wifi details. Check in felt like the staff were not interested at all on the guests and on informing about the facilities of the hotel. Then on the day of check out we got a call on the room at 10 to 12 noon to remind us that the check out was at 12; this was unbelievable. We haven’t had those calls in years of staying in Accor properties. When checking out we were not even asked about our stay or anything. Again, staff was just rushing to process the guests. By curiosity, is this hotel aware of the Accor ALL program?

The breakfast at the view was very nice, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, I had the pleasure to meet Ratan, Ali and the chef (who makes the eggs) every morning ; I had one time dinner at the blue restaurant and it was also delicious and the waiter there was extremely friendly ; on the other hand not all the people at the reception were professional, need more training; in the room the sink was not working well; my room was not cleaned the first day and I wasn’t informed why.

Bad experience! Starting from the security guys at the gate to the time time suit itself to the food quality. The only bright thing about this stay was the receptionist!

Really bad. Very unprofessional employees. The reception will never answer your call the first time you call. When i ckecked in , they gave me a key to a suit that is already occupied by another guest. So, i had to wait for like 3 more hours. You can expect a call from the reception very early in the morning saying your room doesn’t have rates on our system. No vallet parking, honestly, it shouldn’t be rated as a 5 star hotel. I will also post this bad experience on booking, etc so people don’t do the mistake i did and choose a real 5 stars hotel not this one

I have planned to spend my anniversary night at Movenpick Al Khobar I sent a request to have a honey moon package I received a quotation on the price for the package at night so I filled the form and scanned it first thing in the morning since my check-in is going to be late at 19:00 hrs. suddenly I received a call at 6 pm from someone I think his name is Hakam mention that I forgot to put the full amount including taxes where this math should be done by the hotel not me so I told him it is ok whatever the extra I will pay. then he told me that they will prepare everything tomorrow I was shocked telling him I requested it tonight and I am only spending one night how he will do it tomorrow. he mentioned to me that normally any request should be done 24hrs earlier I told him I just did my reservation a night before and I sent the request immediately after i made my reservation and I don't have scanner and printer beside me to fill the form instantly so I did it first this in the morning and I delayed my check-in to be at night to give you sometimes. he asked to wait to ask housekeeping if they can do it then he called me to say simply sorry. later at the check in i paid full amount and while I am checking out I noticed that the front desk employee at night didn't notice the discount I made for myself using my points and simply charged me a full amount while my points is already deducted from my account. then when I went up to my room I found that my room is connected I came down telling him it is my anniversary and I expect some privacy not a connected room and I explained to him the tough times I went through with their event & reservation team the only reply is sorry at least no even effort shown to correct things or upgrade since I platinum member. going back to the discount i made using my points I went down for check out & I told the front desk employee about the mistake their colleague has done she simply replied you can contact Accor about this issue. fortunately there one of her colleagues sitting beside her he approached me and asked about the issue I explained to him and he simply resolved it. this is the only professional employee I have ever met I am a gold elite member at Marriott and very loyal to them. I have only considered Accor after my beautiful time I spent with my family in Antalya Land of Legends resort. but after the incident I saw which has never happened to me me with Marriott I think I would never consider any Accor hotel in the future as long as Marriott serving in the same city my next vacation will be in Seychelles and definitely Bonvoy resorts are number the one in my choice and the rest will be in the back of the cart. Had a very good stay. Great service and staff. Location is very good near the corniche. A lot of restaurants and shops around. There is valet parking and restaurant in hotel. The hotel is easy access from the main roads.
