His communication, attention to detail, and genuine desire to make our celebration special set the tone for what would become a fantastic stay. Upon arrival, Iftikar at reception provided an exceptionally warm welcome. He was professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Travelling with young children can sometimes be challenging, but the team at Sofitel made everything effortless. I was very disappointed with my experience. First, when I arrived at the security gate, I asked whether valet parking was available. I was told that it was not, even though I had a room reservation. I was attending a wedding and had already had my hair styled, so I had to park far away and walk in the hot weather. Additionally, we had booked a makeup artist, and we were delayed for our appointment because of issues during check-in. When we arrived at reception, we were initially told that there was no reservation under our name even though i check in online!!. After they finally located the booking, they informed us that breakfast was not included. However, breakfast was included when we made the reservation, and we had confirmation messages showing that breakfast was part of our booking. Lastly, we faced another issue when an order we placed from outside was not accepted at the lobby. This policy does not make sense, as it requires visitors to walk all the way to the security gate, which is approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel entrance. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below the level of service I expected.
