Our experience this past weekend in the Sofitel Hotel in Bahrain was an experience like no other. We were greeted by an amazing staff and the synchrony and genuine actions made us feel like experiencing one of the most beautiful symphonies performed at a beautiful concert hall. Zarah took care of our check in process while Adil was coordinating some paperwork greeting us in our mother tongue Spanish, you could sense Nonah was smiling (although we all were wearing face masks) and all of this under the courteous coordination of Mr. Ezzat. They checked us in 4 hours in advance and we found ourselves in this amazingly decorated and sanitized suite. The sea view was astonishing and the comfort was amazing. We spent the whole day in the beach, the beach staff was super accommodating the guys from the Towels stand (Abdullah) and the super Bar Tender (Gajandra) provided an excellent service for us. We certainly give a score of 100/100 to this hotel and their amazing staff, at the end of the day there are plenty of beautiful places but very few where you feel genuinely welcomed and spoiled.

This is a nice hotel in a beautiful location. Our room was good with a fantastic sea view. We had a few small issues with the room- the coffee machine wasn’t working and parts of it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We also booked in for the Friday party brunch. Having been to several brunches in similar hotels in Bahrain this was by far the worst service we have received. We were constantly looking for our drinks to be refilled and our plates were not being cleared from our table. At one point we moved our dirty plates to the front of the room by the fountain. They remained there for at least twenty minutes. We also chose some fresh fish and prawns to be cooked at the bbq station. These never arrived !!! Our table was located right at the front of the room. I wasn’t expecting people to be stood up on the fountain dancing over our table. We are not prudes, but this wasn’t acceptable. One member of our party had omelette for breakfast which had been pre cooked and was not fresh. I don’t think this is acceptable for a 5 star hotel. On a positive note, we had a fantastic day at the beach with good facilities. The front office manager Izzat was very professional and was attentive. He took the time to show us to our room and explain to us about the facilities. Although our coffee machine was not working we were given complementary coffee’s in our room and the problem was fixed quickly. Overall we had a reasonable experience at the hotel, the facilities and location ensure that this is the case. But the quality of the service in the restaurant is very poor for a five star hotel and we would not revisit Saraya.

I would like to start by saying that I’ve read nothing but great reviews that have encouraged me to book this hotel for my family trip to Bahrain this February. I’m happy to share my positive experience as well. It all started when they called to inquire about my arrival time since my road trip has run later than planned. Upon checking in, the staff were very understanding and went above and beyond to ensure all our rooms were connected. My daughter, who arrived the next day, was generously given a complimentary breakfast. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and had a marvelous view of the sea. The food served in the breakfast buffet was of excellent quality and with a wide variety. Sadly, though, I had to do an emergency checkout. I have found the staff to be very supportive and was surprised to see that the balance of my stay was wired to my account the next day without me asking them to do so. Overall, I would recommend this resort without any hesitation, and I’m looking forward to visiting them again.

Lovely room and facilties- great for our two year old. Unfortunately our stay was disrupted by a wedding and staff calling the phone and knocking on our door despite the do not disturb sign when our child was napping.

I enjoy coming to the Sofitel Hotel. On arrival we find that there is a Indian wedding on. The noise the first night was tolerable but the second day the noise started in the morning and was horrific. My husband and I are leaving Bahrain on the 31st March after ten years here. This was supposed to be a relaxing two days before we leave and it was clearly not. We were offered and accepted a free meal after complaining but on reflection I feel we should have been offered another night free. Guests should be informed if an event of this nature is on. If we had have known we would not have come. Your staff were clearly trying to deal with this situation which was not their fault and did so with a smile. Very disappointed as my husband had just spent several hours in A and E before we arrived with cellulities and needed peace and quiet which didn't happen. I hope in future this is addressed and never happens again as I am sure the hotel has lost business over this event.

The brunch was not as good as my first visit then onto your house band that play during lunch .Far too LOUD they got louder and louder when I tried to check in at 3 I could not hear what I was being told despite being 6 inches away from the receptionist and shouting at the top of my voice .This is unacceptable along with the fact the music was unintelligible we then had a 9 min rendition of happy birsday at full volume .Even the receptionist said it was too loud , how can you possibly conduct business with that amount of noise.Spoilt an otherwise pleasant time with friends .Not impressed !!!!

Enjoyed the luxury experience although there was a problem with the carpet but the manager immediately transfer us to a nice and bigger room which impacted positively our stay
