This is my first time staying in a hotel locally in Bahrain as I have never experienced this experience before , however, it was a great stay in all aspects from hospitality to rooms to services etc.. I loved the designs of the rooms and how the hotel theme is but unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof which was noisy to hear the next door noise, jet skies And beach music,however, I have few comments that I would appreciate keeping them into consideration with regards to the beach. As a beach, the services were poor However the staff of the beach were good, the selection of music is horrible and noisy, i requested a bucket of ice since i had my water from the room, the beach staff were trying to help and asked a waiter to help that was extremely rude in his behaviour, he asked me to purchase the ice!! Then he was angry on me! I don’t know his name otherwise I would have mentioned it, but it’s very stupid to ask a hotel resident to pay for a bucket of water ice! The beach itself was very small and not tempting with its green Color, the beach surface needs to be smoother.

Very Friendly staff, good service, clean area, clean beach, perfect location, good housekeeping, and etc. Mr. Shenouda and the team were very friendly and very helpful. the hotel is well located for the airport. It is a refreshing change to stay in a low level hotel. The beach is lovely. The beach staff work hard to keep it clean. The reception staff are very good. Very welcoming. My room was spacious and I had a lovely terrace and sea view. The room was clean. The mattress was comfortable. However, the furniture was very tired and worn. My room needed a good updating.Sort of retro but nit in a good way. This lack of investment is disappointing.

The check in experience was excellent. Melanie at the front desk gave us a very warm welcome. I felt valued as an Accor member. The rooms are a bit dated. The buffet offering for dinner did not seem like good value for money. The Russian ladies in the kids club were not very warm or welcoming to our children.

I had issue with the invoices copy, I didn’t receive it on time

It was a good stay, the location is very nice but the room service was very slow. Also there was a smell in the room ( smell of an old building) which was distracting. Otherwise everything else was good.

Old Rooms Need Update bad wifi

While the architecture is beautiful the rooms are far too outdated musty smelling and the bathroom needs a complete rehab as does most of the room. The bathrooms were depressing and a smelly budais (mini toilet) not our thing. The staff was excellent and we really appreciated the manager in charge who told us the rooms were being renovated which gives us hope for this hotel. The lights were too dim and the outlets were all in the wrong place and the fridge was not cold and should be thrown out. The pools were nice and the kids playroom with the excellent caregivers. The beach acess was nice but we moved to the ibis seef after a week and WOW was I happy we moved! So clean so modern and just PERFECTION and wifi worked everything worked like it should and it did not seem like an old haunted space like the Novotel did. Ibis seef also offered dates and AMAZING arabic coffee To all patrons What a nice treat!! A big thanks to all the staff at Novotel Bahrain but just no I would never return!
