We are delighted to know that you had a comfortable stay overall and that many aspects of your visit met your expectations. It is especially rewarding to hear your kind recognition of Mr. Abanoob for his efforts in arranging your rooms close to one another and ensuring a pleasant view for your group. We are also pleased that you enjoyed your dinner experience and the food prepared by our La Perle culinary team, as well as the warm service provided by our breakfast and pool bar colleagues. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the cake presentation. It appears that there was a miscommunication concerning the timing of the service, which unfortunately resulted in the surprise not being delivered as intended. We understand how important such special moments are, and we regret any disappointment this may have caused. Please accept our sincere apologies, and rest assured that your comments will be shared with the restaurant team to help improve communication and avoid similar situations in the future. Regarding the charges for the ice bucket and cutlery, we would like to clarify that these items are provided through room service. Requests involving delivery of items to guest rooms, particularly when not associated with food and beverage purchases from the hotel outlets, are subject to a supplementary service charge. This policy is communicated to guests prior to processing the request. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand your concern regarding the charge applied for requesting cutlery items in your room. However, we would like to clarify that the charge was not for the spoon, fork, or knife themselves, but rather for the room service delivery associated with bringing the items to your room. As per our hotel policy, room service requests are subject to a delivery charge, and this is communicated to guests prior to confirming the order. Furthermore, requests for cutlery and dining utensils intended for consumption of externally sourced food, without any food or beverage order placed through the hotel, are considered a standalone room service request and therefore carry a supplementary service charge. This charge reflects the service provided by the hotel, particularly in cases where the request does not generate revenue through the hotel's food and beverage operations. We appreciate your comments and understand that practices may vary between hotels.
