I recently stayed at the Sofitel Al Khobar, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations associated with a hotel of this category. It is unlikely that I will choose to stay at this property again. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that was in unsatisfactory condition. Although the reception team handled the situation professionally and arranged a room change promptly—something I genuinely appreciate—the issues did not end there. In the second room, I encountered several difficulties. The in‑room safe was not functioning initially; while it was eventually repaired, the incident left me uncertain about relying on it. Additionally, the Wi‑Fi connection was consistently unstable throughout my stay, which caused inconvenience. Another concern was the poor sound insulation in the room, as external noise was easily audible and affected the overall comfort. While the staff members were courteous and supportive, the overall quality of the accommodation and facilities fell short of expectations. Significant improvements would be necessary for me to consider returning.
