Hotel in general good. But improvements needed in room service and call response. May be the restaurant staff (select ) to be more trained in handling customers with more open ness. Eg.. in fixed BF menu, you are offered an orange juice. When I asked of any alternates, one staff was reluctant in providing details. But another staff who was like so friendly said we have two options to service. Can I get you the other one and how much you want…. So pl train the personnel for improvements….

We have problems with checking in we arrived at 11 am and the reservation told us the check in at 2 pm we came back by 3:30 and the room was not ready we waited in the lobby for more the 30 minutes to check in

Hi, .i paid for four nights in At the check-in, and one of the employees did not open my card for the four nights, just for the first night, I had to go down and do an update for the care. After the second night, another employee did close my card, and I could not go up for my wife and ah could not go down for. He embraced me info of my wife. Please, I need whoever made my staying at the hotel a bad experience to be taken in concentrations. Best regards.

The location and staff are great. Went during Eid Holidays and it was a bit overcrowded resulting in complete utilization of the basement parking space however the hotel staff tried to accommodate everyone. We could recognize that after room service every day, the new sheets were actually not properly clean and had spots. In these times when cleanliness should be of utmost priority, the hotel needs to step up.

Medium standard for a 5star hotel. Registration was a bit clumsy. Parking was very difficult to enter and exit. I was expecting more for a Junior Suite; the room was very normal and a Suite standard.

we loved our experience as usual, this is not our first visit we are regular customers and this is our favourite hotel in the eastern province, however as we are still in a pandemic I was expecting the breakfast to be received in the room as we still don't feel safe being in a public restaurant, this time that was not the case unfortunately, everything else is was amazing, the staff is always helpful and very friendly.

Well I had 2 rooms and one suite for 2 nights Sofitel one of my frequent destination world wide, in Khobar this is my second time visit Things were good with some points that need to take care of for the best We were in two cars to arrive with my family The other car reached the hotel earlier than of 30 min and there were miss communication between the front disk and his manger with one of my family member As he told him that he was with me and the way the front disk and the manger react to him was not totally professional especially the family member was with 2 child and and my two sisters The way he was talking to my family member was really not the professional way of a hotel of this level And I was not connected from the hotel when they reached them by the hotel staff , I was contacted earlier by the hotel staff to confirm my arrival time and I did not confirm that either me will reach or the other car first as I was excited that when ever of my family member reach before the hotel staff will confirm with me and also the will deal with them in a professional way not treating them as they are threatening people and saying that it’s for my security reasons they did that!!! I think we should treat everyone as same as should be, and if there a miss understanding or any thing the hotel staff should call immediately and notify my. And not leaving my family with there child’s in the reception area especially during COVID time and treating with that unprofessional way ( zero hospitality and way of professionalism) My family member they called me immediately and told what happened and it’s 30 min away till I arrive to the hotel and I did replied to him to wait it the lobby till I arrive When did arrive the hotel manger was talking to him as it’s part of his job not to give them the room till I arrive and I it’s for my security I did replied that the hotel manger should call me to notify me not leaving them sitting like this making there vacation unhealthy I totally wanted not to talk and I did proceed my check in for the 2 days holidays . I did not want send any feedback because o was so unhappy from this story but you did send me two emails asking.

Disappointing luxury experience

So I picked this hotel for 3 reasons, First it was on the gulf, which was good although overlooking a cost guard port. Second the price was good, third it was promoted as a luxury hotel. The last one was a complete disappointment, my understanding this hotel was opened in 2010 and it felt like it was rundown. Neither the hotel or the room were luxurious, I was extremely disappointed at the state of the room specifically as it felt like it was more of a 20 year old 3 star hotel. I've been in older 5 star hotels and they were in better shape, they were not renovated but well maintained. The restaurant was in no better shape as it felt like some common restaurant not a 5 star one. To be honest I would have given the hotel one star, however, I added a second star because of the amazing staff at the hotel, with a couple of exceptions the staff here are some of the best I have encountered, the third star is because of the pandemic, there were things that I did not like such as the buffet breakfast which I avoided after the second time, it was poor and disappointing and the way they did it was not what I expected but it could be due to restrictions due to covid but I doubt that since we had excellent experiences in restaurants outside of the hotel. Also what luxury hotel does not have foam pillows? This is the first time ever I was told they only have one kind of pillow in a 5 star hotel. I slept miserably due tot he pillow. In short, if you are expecting luxury avoid this hotel, I will be doing so in the future and find somewhere else to stay, this is my first experience at Sofitel and I'm not sure I will be willing to consider this brand in the future.
