This was my families first time in Bahrain, we had been recommended this hotel by several friends due to the experience they’d previously had. The hotel didn’t disappoint, the room and location was great. The staff were friendly and nothing was ever too much for them. It was Ramadan so facilities were a bit more restricted than I would normally expect but the hotel did everything they could to make the experience special for my family.

The person at the checkin desk was extremely slow and non responsive. We had to wait for more than 30 min to get the room keys.

2 points notice . Jacuzzi was not working and in breakfast there was no Salmon slices. And the stuff little bit weak to make routine check about soft drink and hot drink to make refill .

I think there is an issue in the management and Admin service mindset. They may need an intensive training in Customer care. We have been using this hotel for business events for years. I don't think we will use again for further event.

Disappointing to find that the hotel is no longer well patronised, although this is clearly affected by the COVID pandemic. Nevertheless I would have thought that more effort could be made to keep the hotel looking fresh and inviting. The evening buffet was a favoutite previously, but is no longer offered. In the absence of the buffet the a la carte menu is limited.

The worst hotel experience I ever had

this hotel doesn’t represent at all any of Sofitel brand hotels or even Accor membership. I was shocked by the changes of my booking to be different than what I’ve booked on the Accor sight with balcony on the Guardian and see view to another one on the second upper Level room with smaller size and I lost the privilege of the Guardian and they claim that it’s the same and no problem is there??!!! After a discussion with them they claimed that they’re sorry that there are no rooms available!!! Then why my book was accepted for a different category and different picture room and lost of guardian and sea combined??!! On the same day we had also a fight with the security due to non-polite attitude and he closed the gates on me and my family and wanted to kick us out of the hotel!!!! After I stepped down and asked for the manager he came and apologized!!!! The service of the food and variety are so poor and bad quality even room service and style is not at all what i’ve experienced in the past with the rest of the hotels in other places. The crew in all stages of this hotel is not professional at all and it’s a big mistake I did that I booked here…. And it’s a big shame on all of Accor hotels brands and especially Sofitel… I’m still there badly due to it’s weekend and I have the family with me. In normal occasions I leave the hotel immediately… This will be the last time I’ll come to this hotel again.
