There were no tea and coffee facilities in my room, no water, no fridge, and no phone to call down to reception with questions. These are standard amenities for a 4 star hotel. This was very disappointing. The reception staff; however, were helpful and efficient on check in.

Most of the things in the breakfast buffet (for example pancakes, crepes, cake or croissants) seemed to be cooked from days before, so variety was there but quality was terrible.

The location was very convenient, and the staff were great, but the property is very dated, especially the bathrooms and the HVAC system was available in heating mode only. The rooms were unbearably hot, so had to sleep with windows open, which made it noisy. This is not really the level that is expected from the brand and renovation is needed.

Very nice stay in a good location close to the lake, IMD and the metro. Really good, spacious rooms with a great bed and pillows.

Great lake front location. The Olympic Museum (and the beautiful Parc Olympique) is within walking distnce. The lake front walk is especially beautiful - even more so during sunset. The complimentary transport is truly appreciated. It.made travelling on the public transport so very convenient- from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to Luasanne Cathedral and all other places of interest. Also convenient is the Migros supermarket just next door. There're a lot of restaurants and eating places along the lake front that will fit anyone's price range. The hotel itself is comfortable and well equipped with nice amenties and a comfortable bed. Great staff that are helpful and courteous all round. Lovely hotel. Would return if I'm back in Lausanne.
