Returned for my IMD training and stayed for 2 weeks. Very happy with the service of the hotel as staff as well as the upgraded room from superior to premium. The separate shower cubicle was very practical instead of the bathtub. Breakfast was superb as usual.

Handy location to visit family in Ouchy but the hotel is showing its age and could use some renovation / refreshing, also some more thorough cleaning (vs. hair sticking around in the bathroom). Also very inconvenient every (frequent) time Lausanne hosts a sports event. We've been there often and often bumped into the local marathon, the Tour de France (last July), the triathlon (this August), and could not access the hotel with our car. Olympic capital is fine but should have more respect for guests who could not care less about sports events.

Was charged €50 for 2.5 hrs of pre-check-in period which was quite unethical considering Tetra Pak has a long-term relationship with the hotel. Room provided was hotel facing despite booking 3 months in advance. Room service was provided after an hour and had to remind the kitchen staff over call despite placing order via QR code in rooms.

Everything was great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, location is good. However the only point is the room cleaning, when i checked in there was a spider web below the table which could be uncomfortable for some people. I stayed in for 1 night and found everything acceptable. Shower is tight, extra point could be given if the shower was wider and the room cleaner, but overall i would stay again.

Overall a very good stay. Very good rooms, connecting, which was useful for a family. Good location on lake front and near metro station. Two things that detracted just a bit was they advertised a chocolate hour, who excited the kids, and didn't do it, and the person working the bar wasn't the most helpful.

We keep coming back to the Mövenpick Hotel and we all sleep quite well there. We’re always there on business. What didn’t work out this time was booking a table for dinner at the hotel. I sent an email requesting a booking for seven people. As I hadn’t heard anything for a few days, I rang to make the booking. Apparently, the person in charge was on holiday, so my booking hadn’t come through. The person on the phone assured me that they had now taken the booking over the phone. However, when we arrived, we had no booking and had to wait until our table was ready (luckily, it all worked out at short notice). But it seems that you can’t make a booking at the restaurant either by email or by phone, which is not good at all.

The staff of the hotel is very nice and helpful - nothing to complain there. But even so I recieved an upgrade due to my Platinum membership I ended up in an rather old room. the mattress was old an not flat any more, the key card broke while traking out the room card, the gym was not cooled except for two fans etc

I appreciate the environment (room on lakeside is beautiful) as well as the gym. However, the bathroom is very outdated with an instable shower (cold, warm, cold, plus very little water pressure). The restaurant downstairs is also very outdated, no atmosphere, no little flower on the table or anything. Just cold leather chairs and empty tables. Can you please turns this into something that has a vibe that does justice to the hotel? Also we weren't handed the transport passes at check in - it tunred out those had been sent via e-mail but landed in SPAM, but it caused a lot of confusion in our group. Mentioning it at check in would have been nice. Besides that the staff has been very helpful.

The hallways and rooms always smelled bad. Daily room cleaning was not done properly. The shower, faucets, and headboard are very old and need to be replaced.
