The hotel received us despite our late arrival. The employees were flexible, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and well maintained though less space to move across. Breakfast was superb with so many options. Very statisfied with our stay.

Well Located, good value for money related to room and Breakfast but Dinner in restaurant dinner NOT recommended. I stayed here several times before as its convenient to my company that I need to visit. The room was ok except that there is an off (waste) smell everytime I open the water tap in the bathroom ( room 304). The door lock is not working well. Everytime I wanted to leave the room I had to first unlock the door with card before I can close the door. I had dinner here on monday with husband and although we had booked we were 3times told something is out of stock. No Melon for with Ham. No apple tartlet. etc. I also found a black human hair in my Caesar salad. The next morning I had breakfast and had yoghurt with apple mouse. Some of the apples were off and acidic. I also found in my mouth again a black human hair. I nearly puked. so the room, located etc is good but the restuarant should improve. I think you could also inform visitors of the funicular to downtown and this trip was the first time I discovered this. Then you dont need to serve disappointed dinner meals and downtown is many options ;-)) that I never knew about before.

I booked a 3 night stay as I wanted to explore Thonon and its surroundings. The hotel is very well located right next to the pedestrian area of Thonon, and next to the Belvedere, with stunning views of the lake. It is a pity though that the hotel is old, has stains, and the rooms (or at least mine) have 0 views of the lake, just views into the back of an apartment building.
