We were disappointed that we were not offered one of the better rooms from the outset, particularly as we are Accord Gold members. The upgraded room (renovated bathroom - as per the website photos) is much better & we had a nicer view (initial room looked over the cement roof top). Hotel restaurant wasn't open while we were there over the holiday period, only the bar with limited menu and limited operating hours. Given many restaurants close in Switzerland on public holidays, we saw many guests caught out with nothing to eat.

The bathroom sink design is really bad... the tap is of a weird and uncomfortable shape; the sink itself is resin and yellow; the water sink smells quite bad and is partially clogged. This is the second time se stay and these issues were present in both rooms, so I think it's just bad design. Also the mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable.

I have to say that me and my colleagues that usually host at Novotel Bussigny, are extremely disappointed on the fact that the best Accor representant, the charismatic cat that used to live there, is no longer allowed at the hotel.
