Most of the young movenpick egerking staff are nice except one old lady staff. I came to spend the night with my kids n one of them is disabled. When we walked in the front door she arrogantly n loudly said if we were going in or not n this also happened in the lift. Does it really take an hour for her to get to the door? And just look at her condition. I don't know why she did that but to me she is a racist against asians. Maybe movenpick egerkingen should advise her not to do the same to others.

As usual the hotel experience and lovely evening meal with friends was excellent. An ideal place for us to rest on a two day drive back to the U.K. from Italy. Highly recommended.

The rooms are ok. However the performance of house keeping is very poor. I stayed several times in this hotel, the service and house keeping work was always good. This time it happen that the room was NOT cleaned 2 days in a row. After i complained in the evening, i have been told that the do not disturb sign was on the door at 4PM. That was the excuse. However I can comfirm that we left on both days the room before 12pm and there was no do not disturn sign on the door. As a frequent traveller and Platinum Member of Accor, i am well aware about how this works. And if the sign really would have been on the door, i would not even have complained that the rooms have not been cleaned for 2 days. In this case it was just a lie of the house keeper. As a conclusion, the rooms in this hotel are ok, however, you should avoid the hotel, if you want to have your room cleaned and done every day. And not get offended by the receptionist and house keeper that it is the mistake of the guest.
