Good friendly service upon arrival. Nice to be offered a drink with my Club Leaccor status. Also nice to have a drink and snack in my room.

Aa Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

There were no blankets on the bed, we had to go to reception to ask for some. There was some trash on the floor under the bed from previous occupants.

Time for renovation (and cleaning!)

This hotel needs renovation badly in order to match the price you pay. If you just look at the floors inside the room and in the entire hotel, you'll see how long it has been since the last renovation. I just looks and feels filthy. Stains on the carpets everywhere, stains in the toilets and sinks. The TV is probabely 20 years old and we found nail polish or lipstick on the walls from prior guests. If you pay around 170 CHF (or more) for a night plus 20 CHF for (outside) parking, you simply expect a lot more in a city like Zurich. Our "view" was a courtyard straight into an office building. I would NOT stay in this hotel again. No recommandation! Please renovate immediately! ... and the breakfast ... well, the basics are provided.

Upon arrival had to request change of room as work going on immediately outside room. Request for change immediately dealt with. Overall, staff were very attentive and helpful. Bed not particularly comfortable. Shower OK but half doors never work and shower head placed too close to wall.

Comfortable and well situated but details not up to a premium hotel

The room was comfortable but several details were not up to the standard : - Dust on the coffee machine with a spotlight shining on it. This is the first thing I noticed when entering the room (228). - Shower tap broken, though the shower was functional. - No information leaflet or info on TV about the hotel and its services. We were not told the time of breakfast at check-in and we could not find the information in the room. It was not difficult to guess, but we felt a bit neglected. - The cleaning personal entered our room at 08:30 a.m. on our day of departure to see if they could clean the room. This gave me the opportunity to notice that there was no "do not disturb" label to hang outside at the door. - I could not give feedback on these details at checkout, because there was nobody at the reception. All these are not very important and it didn't change the general quality of our stay, but it gives a bad image of the hotel and I have not experienced such unconveniences in lower standard hotels. I understand that staffing is difficult nowadays and the management does its best.
