The 1st room had a leak and was not as clean as I expected. Once moving, the room was still not as clean and kept finding long hairs in the room. The rooms feel dated and need to be updated. The breakfast was very poor, not a lot of choice and hot food was cold.

good reception team, standard Novotel rooms but Lift very small, difficult to bring big luggage's ...quite bad for an hotel 5 min to the airport and not acceptable to have to pay 20 or 28 CHF for the parking !

We have been coming to this hotel several times now. We have found it to have good prices and service and its location is convenient, with good connections throughout Zurich. However, this time the breakfast left much to desire. Due to COVID one can expect some limitations, but what is on offer could be improved. No fruit no greens, not even black tea!

I travel quite often for business or travel and many times I use hotels from Accor Group: Mercure, Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel or MGalllery. As usual, I looked for a convenient hotel near Zurich airport and chosen Novotel. I was shocked by the disastrous state of the hotel: dirty carpet on hallways, stains on the walls in the rooms, broken devices in the bathroom and the elevator looking like a shooting stage ... overall a disgusting experience. Not only for me, other guest started screaming when entered a room nearby! The reception lady was absent at times from the area, I was allocated a room prepared for a different person (based on the note found on the desk in the room) and the breakfast was much less than usual. Other hotels took the opportunity of lower turnover during Covid times to do a fully refurbishment of the premises, I don't understand why this hotel could not be cleaned up and repaired. All in all, to be avoided.

I'm glad to have this chance to offer some feedback. I regularly use Accor hotels and prioritise them for work-related trips. I have also used the Zurich Messe Novotal quite a few times. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful. However, the whole place felt very shabby. The carpets in the corridor are stained throughout which creates a very unpleasant first impression. Then my room (only given second floor) had a completely broken window (which I couldn't leave ajar unless fully open), a broken alarm clock (ripped from the bedstead), a stainded amenities stand in the bathroom, and a pillow case with worn holes in it. I'm sure the sheets were clean but it didn't feel like a clean space. I would always trust Novotel for it's affordable but reliable standards; this time was very disappointing.

Very noisy room allocated to us initially as it was a parental connected room! The bect door people was a family with two lower aged kids making a lot of noise! Room was changed after complaint to reception. How can two different families be allocated connected rooms with no proper sound insulation??

It was good for our one night stay with a very good service from the Reception (particularly, during check in) and the bar. The fridge was not very cold in our room. Zoo was 15 minutes drive from the hotel. The room was a bit outdated, but was OK for our one night stay. The hotel has underground parking (chf28/night) and above ground (not covered) parking (chf20/night).

After booking on booking.com and paying in full my card was charged again by hotel reception without prior notice. Was lucky to catch it on my statement. They fixed the charge, but have not been offered anything in compensation for the would be theft. The hotel was fine for the price, but needs maintenance.

First trip after covid, a good experience. Although the usual services may not be working full yet, the staff and the location were very good, and the city of Zurich also is exciting after such a difficult period we have all endured.

Regular guest in your hotel. Understand that corona requires different handling. But check-in was difficult, person barely spoke English / German. No (instant) coffee available. Shower cold in the morning on first day, has been fixed second days. Room was not made up again next day, no shower gel. Parking machine did not accept Amex so I had to go up again. Service desk agent at first day did not allow to book on room, he asked me to pay on the machine. Worked only next day. So overall this was really poor experience, not comparable to previous times.

As usual nice people at the reception, at the restaurant, and with the breakfast service In the room. Only thing I believe is that the room service for breakfast cannot work well on the long term. If there is more than person is not working and is not nice at the end the breakfast like this. If I can suggest, I would go back to buffet but having someone on your side being the only one authorized to touch the food and prepare for guests on their demand. I saw that for example in Italy
