Overall, the stay was very good, and the room was comfortable. However, the welcome experience did not reflect the standard I would expect from Accor, particularly as a loyalty member. The reception staff were not very welcoming and appeared reluctant to answer questions or provide assistance. Upon arrival, I also found used water bottles in the refrigerator from a previous guest. While these were removed after I informed reception, it suggested that the room had not been thoroughly checked before my arrival. In addition, the smoke alarm in the room had been tampered with by a previous guest, who had placed a plastic bag over it. Despite notifying reception multiple times, the issue remained unresolved throughout my stay. This was particularly concerning, as it could have had serious safety implications in the event of a real emergency. While the accommodation itself was enjoyable, the service, attention to detail, and handling of this safety concern left room for improvement.
