The location of the hotel is great. With all the nice food belleville and the surrounding area has to offer within walking distance. The metro is literally steps away from the front door. The amenities in the room are mostly up to date, even though the rooms are quite compact. And I liked the balcony view in my room. The lack of power sockets in the room is a little bit frustrating when we all have lots of devices to charge. The pillows are subpar and not comfortable at all. The temperature in the room felt quite high, especially in the middle of the night.

For Paris, this is a good destination matching the hotel brand standards. Good room and bathroom size. Clean. The mattress was too soft for me, but I can understand others might like it. The room has a small fridge, a safe, and an electric tea kettle with tea bags and instant coffee. On a daily basis, the cleaning staff did a good job. The price was competitive because the neighborhood is not appealing. However, the Line 2 metro station is very close, and you can walk 15 minutes and find better bakeries or restaurants. I had limited interactions with the staff, but nothing to complain about. Looking at the floor plan, not all rooms seemed to have the same size. My room was the 519. Probably one of the largest of the floor.

overall god stay, position very close to M2, 30 min walk from Le Marais, shops and restaurants nearby. Good facilities, standard french breakfast. The only thing to improve would be noise cancellation- more specifically the windows. It sounds like they are open when they are closed. Not a problem from a room temperature perspective but hard to sleep during weekend when it’s noise on the street (almost all night). Overall good value for money, but fixing this would make it a 9.2 rather than a 8.

I love NOVOTEL Belville, however I had an "accident" on my first morning: Almost no hot water. The good point is that after having reported problem to reception, problem has been sorted during the day and my next morning shower was good. The bad point is that I happened the same problem during one of my stay at NOVOTEL Belville last year. And this is not reassuring.
