This is a new Novotel in the heart of Hamburg. Staff is very attentive and supportive. We got a spacious room - perfect fit for our 3 night stay.

The room is good. But in my very honest opinion the service SUCKS!! The staff just cannot give any information about the parking place and they do not have any information at all. How can this be??? A hotel and do not have any information about the parking place? If you drive and wanna stay in that hotel pls check first before you stay there. And I hope the hotel could really provide such information about the parking as when we arrive as customers we already very tired. The last thing we wanna hear is "we don't know". On top of that we request a connecting room, when we checked in the guy said the 2 rooms are connecting but when we went to the room, the rooms are side by side but it was not connecting. Overall I will rate 2/10 for this hotel

However, we sincerely apologize that your experience fell short in some areas. Our team is committed to providing clear information, and we regret any confusion regarding parking details. The on-site parking facility at level -3 is available for €36 per day, and we will reinforce this information with our staff as well as with our night auditor company to prevent future oversights. We also apologize for the misunderstanding with your room configuration and have addressed this internally to ensure accurate communication. Your feedback on service standards is invaluable, We deeply regret that your request for connecting room could only be accomodated after 2 nights. Water will not be replace everyday, but every 2 days. As you switched rooms, there should have been new bottles available. Please never hesitate to reach out to our staff if something feels amiss. I wish to commend the hotel for having relatively well-rtrained staffs as most of them were friendly and professional. I had stayed in a few hotels in germany in the past week and i can say that the service was one of the best even when compared to similar priced hotels like mgallery. The tart offered to me as my welcome dessert in room was covered with glass cover which i truly appreciate, and it is a small gesture that many european hotels do not do. This is more for hygienic purpose. The room consists of a variety of tables, chairs, ottoman all thoughtfully placed which add on to the good experience. Two things that i would feedback for improvement will be to ensure the bathroom in room smells good, it was slightly stinky when i entered the bathroom. Second will be to provide a kettle for boiling water and basic amenities such as toothbrush, in room slippers in room. Sometimes guests just dislike having to ask and to wait for things, it would have been best if these basic were provided without needing to ask for them. One more thing will be as there is no lounge for members, it would be nice to offer additional complimentary drinks and snacks at the bar or provided in the minibar in room just like other mgallery and novotel do.
