A very good hotel in an excellent location in the city center. Excellent staff. Unfortunately there was no heating in the room (it was -10 outside) with mediocre mattresses, but the professionalism and service of the staff helped us

(A minor point, was not having an iron in the room. I made a few calls to reception and housekeeping to get one later in the evening but no answer. I got one delivered in the morning. It was a minor issue as I did not have to travel early in the morning, but just a thought would be to have one in each room as per most hotels I visit on business). Overall I was extremely pleased with the hotel and will definitely book again when in Hamburg.

I was warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and luxurious, with water and coffee provided as part of the stay. There is a small fitness room available, which I unfortunately discovered too late, but it's good to know for next time.

Breakfast was wildly variable - although staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast items such as eggs (either scrambled or soft-boiled) were cold on some days, nicely hot on others. It was also a bit off that breakfast was very English (mushrooms, baked beans, etc.) - I would have appreciated a more German breakfast (e.g., mettbrötchen)!
