Enjoyed our stay. I had to reschedule our trip three times, I did so by email and the reservation was changed with ease and at no extra expense. Hotel was nice, bed very comfortable. Would recommend

Fairly new building with underground pay parking. Rooms new style with the usual comfortable beds and tiled bathroom. Great breakfast buffet. Short walk to the Hamburg shopping district and Christmas markets.

While the Hamburg trainstation might not be a welcomeing site after 10 PM, we were happy, that the Hotel was easy to reach on foot, after traveling 7 hours with the train. The stuff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are small, but nice and comfy. I would stay here again :)

We stayed for one night but used many of the facilities at the hotel. Before arrival we shipped a package to the hotel that got handled and given to us during check in without any issue. The hotel also has a great locker system that you can use after check out as well. Overall I think this hotel is perfect especially if you arrive by train. Everything is few minute walk away and staff is really helpful.

Three day business trip, and my second stay at this hotel. Hotel is in a good location 10 mins walk from the main station, which is 25 mins away from Hamburg airport. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the city centre. The hotel is modern with good practical rooms and en-suite. There is a bar and restaurant - the breakfast is very good. Staff all very pleasant and professional. All in all the hotel offers a good all round and value for money package.

Nice place, though confused by the difference between ibis and ibis budget when they are right next to each other. Sadly the part of town it is in is now the epicenter for people with drug problems, with Drop Inn right next to it. Place itself is fine. Room is small but super quiet. Even with an industrial sewage drill outside we could sleep. However I don't approve of €2,60 for a small cup of black coffee...

We only stayed one night, so can't really say anything about the area. The service at the hotel was not impressive. When we checked in, the employee seemed tired and a little irritated. The room was clean. However, the sofa bed was insanely bad, it was very worn and very short

Mold on the toilet with a very bad smell that was all over the room. VERY DISGUSTING. Dirty room with hair on the sheets. Cleaning was very superficial. And not to say how bad the bed was. The front desk workers weren't that kind. They mustly only spoke german and said some weird stuff that they changed after a while. AC on the room was non-existing. We were very confused to why the hotel has 3 stars when it deffenetly cant live up to that. The only ok thing was the breakfast, which needed some standard stuff like sausage and pancakes to be perfect.

Location great only a short distance from the underground making Hamburg easily accessible

Normally my wife and I stay in the Mercure by the Messe Centrum on our visits to Hamburg but we decided to try this hotel because of the distance to the U Bahn which proved to be a bonus. A couple of negative points (And I realise it was an IBIS city and not a Mercure). Breakfast: there was no toaster so my love of scrambled egg on toast was a non starter. The room itself was comfortable and our request for an extra pillow each each was granted with no problems but what I could not understand is how anybody who designs hotel rooms could think it was a great idea to have a glass door between the bathroom and the sleeping area. OK the door was opaque but when I or my wife got up in the early hours to use the bathroom then the room was flooded with light waking the other person up. I can only assume the room designer never stays in hotel rooms. Bad choice of designer, Accor, and not a good idea. Surely somebody could have seen this as a problem.

The location is perfect. It is walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof. Everything was clean and comfortable and they had taken care to implement COVID safety protocols. Would stay there again!

There was a construction site in front of my window. I arrived late and was not made aware while booking nor by staff upon arrival. I was not offered a discount for the inconvenience.
