I've been a long-time customer of the chain. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times so far. Two things I find unacceptable. 1. Being forced to pay for luggage storage. I travel all the time. It's never happened to me before. Even the worst hotels I've stayed in had free luggage storage. If I were you, I'd be ashamed. 2. The cleaners, despite messages, left fewer towels every day for 7 days. Despite the messages they didn't replace the shower gel. I had to ask the receptionist. All in all. Poor service. First was given a room for special need persons which was not comfortable for me. Second room at the end discovered that my room was not being locked which means i could open my room without key.

When I'm traveling to Hamburg, I always stay in the Ibis City Center. Unfortunately, this time my stay wasn't as pleasant as normal. The TV wasn't working, the shower was cold, the sink drain was clogged so the water drained away very slowly and the carpet was very dirty. Positive note, the technical service was able to fix the TV and the shower within 1 day. All hotel employees are very friendly and helpful.
