Everything was exceptional. It’s a 5 minute walk from the train station. I didn’t buy breakfast. So can’t comment on that. I do know it’s 19 Euro per person. I felt it was too high. The only real issue I had, the bed was extremely hard. They had mainly just a mattress topper on top of a box spring. Flat flat flat pillows. Did I mention flat? lol. I couldn’t get the air/fan to stay on in the room so my room ran hot at. Night. Like sweating hot. But probably a user error. I would stay here again.

Well located close to Hamburg Hbf and right next to the lakes. Clean everywhere and at all times. The breakfast was plain. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Plenty choice of breakfast options and room was acceptable. Only negatives were the pillows were far too soft and gave no neck support and whilst the TV in the room was SMART, none of the functionality was available. I was advised the TVs are not linked to the hotel Wifi. Surely as a minimum YouTube should be available for all guests in modern hotel?

Arrived to find the shower was not draining. As the hotel was "fully booked" we could not be given an alternative room however the helpful member of staff on reception came to help with an industrial style plunger. Something tells me blocked water systems are common here. We also found we had no functioning Air Con or means of cooling the room which was too warm to sleep in without having the window open. Which wouldn't have been such an issue but for the fact the hotel is situated next to the approach to the busiest Railway Station in Germany. So the room we had was good for the brief period overnight where the trains were less frequent however I wouldn't not recommend this hotel to a friend. The three members of Reception staff that were working whilst we were staying were all very helpful.

While everything was quite nice and welcoming, the elevator on our side of the building (room 204) was not working properly. And the shower temperature kept going from boiling to very cold every 10 to 30 seconds which made showering quite uncomfortable.

Small but clean rooms. Perfect for a base to travel from. Very close to waterfront. Great staff. Stored our luggage all day, while we went sightseeing, for late night flight. A kettle in the room for tea coffee would have been good. Towels were really thin.

The only issue I would've liked a resolution on is I had booked for 3 nights as I had a workshop in Hamburg. The workshop was concluded in 2 days so I checked out one day earlier. It would've been nice if the one night could've been credit for sometime later as I travel to hamburg often.
