Paid for Ibis but the hotel felt like Ibis budget.

Checkin slow given i thot i had done so online already Room...normal ibis room, fine, view only of opposite building despite asking recep for best he could manage...but, less good, this room is adjacent to elevator shaft & vibrations can be felt periodically. Bar is apparently closed except when a guest asks....worse, lights are off and this makes a very gloomy image to lobby area. Was told about bejng serioysly short sraffed etc., hmmm

The location is very good, close to the main station Hotel is clean, amenities are limited though. I was surprised that there was no electric kettle in the room. The AC controls were also very old fashioned and difficult to manage. I would reserve praise for the staff at reception, they were very courteous and polite, and very helpful when I needed help regarding transport and needed to find something left behind in my room.

The hotel was located close to the train station which is located near the water, located in what looked like a very good locality. The hotel room was very modern, decent Wi-Fi and great breakfast. The staff at reception were also very enthusiastic and helpful.
