This hotel is exactly what you would expect of an Ibis budget. The room is clean and basic. So is the rest of any service, including the breakfast. The hotel is located near a very busy street and a very busy railroad, and has no air conditioning -- so it is hard to get some fresh air during summer and there's almost nothing you can do about it. My room had a terrible hissing sound coming from the air-vent. But again, nothing you can do about it. Some other reviews say that the staff isn't friendly. Although I do agree, I am not sure the Germans are famous for being very welcoming in the first place, so that may just be a cultural difference. Bottom line is: this hotel is for people who is looking for a clean place to stay (and a breakfast) but who expect nothing more.

We got a very good family offer of two rooms. The rooms are good size for our family (parents and 1 year old). The breakfast was amazing. A lot of different things to choose from. Worth the 13€ /person price.

Mayk Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Room is same as all Ibis Budget rooms in other countries. Location is near Hanburg HBF, about 10mins walk which is perfect. Room was clean when ww arrived but the AC wasn’t working. It says it was centrally controlled but it was a warm July night and we were toasting. Reception closed at around 22:30 hence no one to report it to. €104 a night, is not cheap for a budget hotel.
