Disappointing experience and unfair pricing

Dear Vier jahreszeiten spa , I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your spa. I had booked a 60-minute massage for both of my parents over the phone, and I was clearly informed it would be €165 per person for the session. However, upon their arrival, they were given a couples massage, which was never requested or authorized. Furthermore, the massage lasted only 40 minutes, not the 60 minutes that were promised at booking. To make matters worse, they were charged €175 per person, plus an additional €35 for the couples session – which again, was neither discussed nor approved beforehand. This kind of misleading practice is extremely unprofessional and unfair. It is especially disappointing when one expects a relaxing and enjoyable experience, only to be met with confusion, overcharging, and lack of transparency. I strongly believe in supporting businesses that value honesty and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and I do not intend to return or recommend your services to others unless this matter is addressed appropriately. Sincerely, S.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like the only patron they had staying in the hotel. Service was impeccable and the location ideal for my daily commute for business and evening activities within Hamburg.

I am often a guest of the hotel, either for dinner at Grill, Nikke Nine, and had also few overnight staying when my parents come visit and I can say always had great experience and enjoy very much everytime. Unfortunately cannot say same for the afternoon tea experience of yesterday. My friends reserve months in advance and although out general experience was nice, few remarks here: once noticing that in the table there were a no German speaker, I was very surprised the ladies assigned to assist us were not able to speak English; they forgot to serve us the black tea selection so that our tea journey was not complete; before the end of our time slot they rushed us to leave ad they needed extra time to prepare the table; they pack our remains of the food in paper boxes which we had to carry ourselves upstairs. For such establishment I would expect differrently. Hopefully next time

Gabriel A Business - TripAdvisor review

Obviously a great hotel with an exceptional focus on servicing the guests. Very much attention on you the guest and the hotel is beautiful and cosy. The fitness area is above par offering cold towels, bottled water and even headsets in case you forgot your own. Machines are top shelf. Why only the three stars then? I would say everything was just as expected at this level and price.
