Dear Miss Heike Fehrmann and Management Team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding our recent stay (Booking Nr. QLTDDGSW). Prior to our arrival, I sent a clear, straightforward email requesting connecting rooms with the internal doors open, and strictly no alcohol in the minibar due to sensitive personal reasons for one of our guests. Mihaela replied beforehand, noting only the connecting rooms but making no mention of the alcohol. Upon arrival, Mona checked us in and stated she "thought" the rooms were connecting. They were not; the doors were locked. Furthermore, there was beer left in the minibars. When we went back down to the desk to ask for the alcohol to be removed, Mona’s response was unprofessional. She admitted she saw the note in our file, but because she saw three adults checking in, she "used her own discretion" to ignore the request. This is not just a minor oversight; it is a serious breach of trust. Overriding an explicit, sensitive request regarding alcohol—especially when dealing with a guest’s personal well-being—is completely unacceptable. As a loyal, returning guest, I expect our preferences to be respected, not second-guessed by the front desk. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address this with your team to ensure it does not happen again.
