We stayed for 6 nights at the Ibis Hbf in Vienna. No frills but clean and practical rooms, which were cleaned daily which we loved. Lobby amenities include a complimentary water station and free coffee and tea. The breakfast buffet was mostly standard fare, apart from the "Asia Corner" which was a very appreciated touch. Additionally, the staff were very efficient and friendly, with one colleague who was a bit sterner and who more forcefully communicated the end-time of the breakfast buffet. But the others were absolute gems, very warm staff. The hotel is located next to the Hauptbahnhof, which has a food court and small mall. We were never wanting for food or small shopping. Direct access to the metro and trains were a huge boon, as are nearby taxis and Ubers. Additionally, the Hbf area is close to the Belvedere area, so there's a wonderful museum in walking distance. We had initially booked for 4 nights, but extended 2 additional nights. This process was handled smoothly and courteously. Me and my parents were extremely pleased with our stay, and will come back to this hotel should we visit Vienna again in the future. Thank you and all the best for 2026!

You can tell that this IBIS hotel has been recently built, it seems new and tidy, the noise isolation is great. It is also very conveniently located right next to the main train station, you can easily access the airport, the city centre and benefit from all the shops within the train station that are open on Sundays as well. Favoritenstrasse just behind the hotel has lots of restaurants for affordable prices. The free coffee, tea and mineral water is also a big plus.

Good location near the train station with connections to all parts of the town, various and tasty breakfast, good wi-fi, friendly staff. To be improved: type of the towels (no hands towels available) and maybe the cleaning if possible during the stay( I know it’s 3 stars and it’s not mandatory to be the room tidied up maybe)

The staff was always friendly and helpful. Excellent hospitality. During breakfast, the staff was always ready to accommodate any request. For personal reasons, on the second evening when I returned to the hotel, I requested a room change, which was done immediately and without any problems. The reception staff was fantastic.

First of all, I wasn’t given any welcome drinks even though i asked. The cleaning was terrible, they didn’t even took trash out of the room.
