Facilities are great. Carpark situation confusing. Trying to navigate where to find the room was stressful and confusing. Why do you not have numbers and directions on the walls to help people with this? Room 2305/2035 whichever one it is, needs upgrading. The stains on the couch, curtains, broke curtains, kitchen bench cracked and bathrooms taps, shower needs looking into.

Was a great stay we loving staying here only issue was when the 2 single beds were put together it became uncomfortable as it was like a new mattress and an old mattress put togtand in the middle there was a high difference.

The only positive was the staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was not ready until nearly 90mins after check in time of 2pm. The room looked very run down and was not cleaned well with mould in the shower and along window frames.

A guest of mine who has previously stayed asked if could return, some things were good, not having fresh pool towels for pool occupants on a Saturday was interesting being a weekend.

We were given the choice of two apartments and chose a beautiful apartment that suited us extremely well. Sam in reception was wonderful and she was always helpful. Damien the maintenance man was also so helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the condition of the room and the facilities provided, particularly given the premium price we paid. During our stay, we experienced the following issues: The TV was not working. The main ensuite was extremely dirty, with dust throughout the bathroom. It appeared as though work or maintenance had recently been carried out but the area had not been properly cleaned afterwards. The washing machine was extremely noisy and rattled excessively when operating. The dryer was very outdated. There was no extra bedding available in the room. The blankets provided were extremely thin, which was particularly disappointing during the winter period. The central heating did not work at all, leaving the room absolutely freezing. Overall, it felt as though several basic facilities were simply not functioning as they should. On Saturday, I went to reception to obtain pool towels and was told there were no towels available. Given that we were staying for five nights and had paid a substantial amount for our accommodation, I found this extremely disappointing. I understand that things can occasionally go wrong during a stay, however, the number of issues we experienced was unacceptable, particularly considering the amount we paid. We expected the apartment to be clean, comfortable and fully functional. I am sorry to provide such negative feedback, but I believe management should be made aware of our experience so these issues can be addressed for future guests I even contacted management 3 days ago and still haven’t heard back from them. Pretty poor

Unfortunately, our hotel’s entire phone system went down on Tuesday, leaving us with email as our only means of communication. As a result, we have experienced a significant backlog of emails and have been working through these as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay in Room 3084. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We have reviewed the concerns raised in your email and would like to clarify that, during your five-night stay, the only issue reported to our team was regarding the television. Unfortunately, the other concerns outlined in your complaint were not brought to our attention while you were staying with us. Had we been made aware of these matters during your stay, we would have been more than happy to investigate and address them where possible. Our team is available to assist guests throughout their stay, and we always encourage guests to contact Reception as soon as an issue arises so that we have the opportunity to rectify it promptly. With regard to the cleanliness of the ensuite, heating, washing machine, dryer and bedding, we were not notified of any concerns regarding these matters during your stay. As a result, we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to inspect or resolve these issues at the time. With regard to the pool towels available from Reception, we generally maintain a sufficient supply at the desk. However, it is possible that we had temporarily run out of clean towels at the time you approached Reception. Our team would normally have additional towels being returned and restocked throughout the day, and we apologise if this caused any inconvenience during your stay. We are, however, disappointed to learn that you were dissatisfied with these aspects of your accommodation and will certainly take your feedback on board as part of our ongoing review of our facilities and services. I will ensure that all of your feedback is passed on to our Housekeeping and Maintenance Managers for their review and follow-up. Regarding your $800 security bond, this is automatically released 24hours after departure from our end, however it is then up to your bank to release. This may take a further 2-5 business days. Please refer to your bank statement is the funds are still pending, if they have disappeared, this means the bond has been released. With regard to your request for compensation, given that the majority of the concerns raised were not reported to the hotel during your stay, we are unable to offer compensation for issues that we were not provided with an opportunity to investigate or rectify at the time. We value your membership with Accor and appreciate your feedback. We sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more positive experience in the future. Kind regards, Management Team.

It is so confusing to go from reception, up to the 2nd floor parking garage, around a water fountain (and over roads that are entry and exit points), into another "tower" and lifts to access rooms. It was incredibly confusing, despite the maps and instructions. I mean, I took orienteering in highschool and clearly forgot my compass! I also checked in on time, room wasnt ready. Kind of annoying given that when you pay for a hotel room you dont even get 24 hours in it. They told me they would call me when it was ready. I waited until 4pm, did not hear from them, so I called them and they told me it was ready. Great. So they didnt call me at all. One thing I will say is that the staff at the front desk when I did check in did allow us to have a late check out, which was lovely and is the reason why I didnt give a 1 star review.

Great location. Our room was great. Only issue is the smell in the lift from the garbage shoot. Its awful. as soon as you leave your room the smell is there. And the cheap blanket in place of a doona on the bed. Awful. Its like a Kmart cheap blanket. Apart from that, the room was great, the provide enough washing powder and dishwashing detergent which never happens these days.

Friendly staff , accomodating, helpful ! Great Ocean view , our room was great! our fridge broke down and was reasonably quickly swapped over, including some perishable items replaced (Thank you to the staff ) 😊 Considering this was our 1st time booking flights and an apartment in the centre of surfers paradise! It was really great 👍 convenient to walk to Cavill Avenue and surrounds , parking space allocated, however parking wherever there was a Mantra sign , but worked it out just fine! Easy walking access to supermarkets on ground floors ! Think we may have do it again sometime Thanks again !
