We were not entirely satisfied with our stay here. Firstly, as Platinum members we had requested for an upgrade prior to arrival, there was no acknowledgement of our request and this was not granted. The kitchen oven inside the aprtment was dirty, we left over food crumbs from the provious guests. There were also left over clothing in the dryer which means the cleaners are not really doing a good post stay cleaning. No welcome drinks in the App (not sure why) but 2 soft drink cans in the room. Apart from that it was a spacious apartment and good location.

It became obvious very soon after arrival that this accommodation was way below expectations for cleanliness and comfort. We spent the first 2 hours cleaning before we were happy to stay. If the accommodation had been cancellable without penalty we would have left. The beds were so uncomfortable and when we asked about a bed topper told couldn't accommodate us Cleaning equipment was sparse, a mop without a bucket, a broom without a dustpan. The facilities at the resort are amazing and very relaxing. We ate at the Thai restaurant twice as it was so yummy! The pool cafe was great for a coffee and a toastie after an early morning dip, spa, and sauna too. Unfortunately, there was construction across the road (southern side), and the room had no sheer curtains, so we had no privacy in our room (this is the room owner's issue, not the resort). Construction noise commenced at 6am, again, not the fault of the resort, but it was disappointing. Would I stay there again? Definitely! For the easy access to the beach and light rail, plus the on-site facilities, but I would request an east or north-facing room to take advantage of winter sun. It is a little way from the busy Cavill Avenue area, so not busy or crowded, which was great for a quiet get-away.
