We were really looking forward to our stay with mantra crown towers, however upon arrival to our 3 Bed apartment we were met with previous guests clothing items, food left in sink, dust and dirt on ground throughout, cigarette butts and pistachio shells on the ground of the balcony.

Great location, which is good walking distance to the beach and also to all the cafes and restaurants in Surfers esp. for younger kids. The pool area was amazing, which the kids really enjoyed. Really friendly and helpful staff, carparking was good, easy to get in and out. The whole establishment is quite dated, and what use to be a cafe/restaurant no longer operating which is a shame. The rooms are really dated and could use a refresh, but it had what we needed for our 4-night stay. One of the bedrooms didn't have air-conditioning, only a fan, which made it quite hot - but the kids seemed to be okay with that. Overall, an enjoyable stay due to the friendly staff and the outdoor pool area.

This was our 2nd stay however it has been over 2 years since that visit. The room we were allocated was unfortunately not what we were expecting for the price paid. The carpet was all ripped, the walls and tiles were chipped and the smell was not pleasant. Thankfully, after asking for an alternative we were moved to another room. Cleaner and more looked after however a very large patch of mould on the carpet between the tv cabinet and sliding doors to the balcony. We have a toddler so we made sure that we were not around that area so no one got sick. Pretty disappointed and our next trip to the Gold Coast we will be staying elsewhere.

The "manager" behind the front counter was very short and rude to my wife on several occasions and myself over the phone. We are repeat visitors - if it wasn't for the facility's we would not return.

shower wasn't very clean at all. got a couple of toilet paper rolls for a nearly a weeks stay. There was no cover for the duvet just a sheet which would fall down and would rather have a cover on a duvet that gets used by a range of guests, felt unsanitary and strange.
