There's plenty of ways to make a splash, with two outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool. The kids will love the children's pirate ship with it's own waterslide, sandy beach and water fountains.

It felt very dated, curtains had mold on them, air con didn’t work, but the staff attended to that quickly which was great. It was a nice location and the pools were great but just felt let down by the decor, paying a lot of money you kinda of expect nice rooms

Pool was great, in particular the pirate waterslide and kids pools, although the pirate ship could do with some maintenance. The main outdoor pool was a bit cool, however the kids and indoor pool were a great temperature. The apartment itself although was well appointed and the laundry is a very handy feature especially when travelling with kids on longer holidays.

Overall the stay was average. Although we knew that there was building next door, Didn’t realise that they started pouring concrete at 5am. Also. Room was not ready at 3 pm for check in. Had to wait 20 minutes. Washing machine has stuffed bearings in its spin cycle, The noise coming outa that was horrendous. Bird shit all over the balcony table . And to top it all off, two leaking taps. You pay a lot of money these days for a hotel room. You expect a bit better than this. Although this property is located ideally for us. I think a change is in order..

We arrived just before 11am, walked into the lobby and immediately it felt like the hotel was abandoned. Everything was fairly dark and closed. Knowing we were too early for the room to be ready, we just wanted to drop off our bags. With no other guests in sight, only the 2 staff at the check in desk, checking in was easy. We were told they would ask housekeeping to prioritise cleaning our room then call us when it was ready. We never received a call, so returned at 2pm when check in officially opened. We were told the room was ready and we could check in. Unsure how long it had been ready and waiting without a call though. We were asked if we had a car with us, confirmed no, then were given a carpark key and allocated bay anyway. The room itself was alright, but not up to the normal quality we've come to expect from other Mantra hotels. Everything felt very dated, so clearly wasn't one of the allegedly recently renovated rooms. The couch had lost it's springs and was incredibly saggy, the other chairs also felt on their way out. The shower head leaked and the shampoo/bodywash was horrible and felt like it dried your skin out more than anything. Some of the lights flickered and were different brightness levels. One positive was the pool looked very nice.
