We were very happily surprised at the size and quality of our one-bedroom apartment. The view from the 12th floor was beautiful and we left the balcony doors open at night to hear the surf. We enjoyed the outdoor pool complex and indoor spa very much after our walks.

The overall stay was great. A few little problems, the safe didn’t work and was repaired. The wind howling under the door, which we fixed by putting a towel behind door. Maybe some weather strips on you doors would solve the problem. And also some one entered our room, was told it was staff, and left a few belongings which we were not comfortable with, surely it must be known weather a room is already occupied or not.

Poor housekeeping/room hygiene

The hotel was found to be disgusting on the first night of our stay. My family found chocolate wrapper and dirty underwear in the wardrobe with the spare blankets. I called the front desk, the staff came upstairs to have a look and apologised for this. I understand there won’t be any housekeeping staffs late at night but the staff was going to leave it as it is promising us to have the room well cleaned the next day. When he was asked if anyone was removing the dirty underwear stained with blood/faeces, he kindly offered to remove it. The next day our room was not cleaned instead the staffs only changed the towels and made the beds. Thanks to the hotel team for offering the complimentary breakfast. I have previously stayed at this hotel since I am the member of Accor and have always enjoyed my stay. Therefore, brought my family from overseas to stay at the same place this time hoping the stay would be enjoyable and relaxing for them. It was extremely disappointing to pay such a huge amount of money to stay in this hotel and not even have a clean bedroom to stay.

Great stay, fantastic location, very comfortable and quiet room, with spectacular views and outstanding facilities. Couldn't fault the rooms and we look forward to returning soon. In the heart of surfers with plenty of great restaurants and lots of variety very close by. The beach is right across the esplanade and it all so convenient. The only slight down side was the wait for a lift during busy periods.
