The apartment was disgusting. Massive crack in the wall that had been half plastered over, kitchen sink was broken and barely turned on, the bathroom wall had mould and dirt and cracks in many tiles, the carpet was stained badly in some places. A nightclub/ dayclub is next door with pounding music until 1am on Friday and Saturday nights and all day Saturday, even though we were 17 storeys high.The only good things were the pools and the lovely and helpful reception staff.

Was hoping for a better view or even higher up for what we paid. But it was alright. The microwave didn’t work. Foxtel and tv couldn’t get satellite signal - and we were only on level 5. When calling reception to advise of these two issues, they could barely hear me on the room phone so clearly reception was glitchy at best. Interior was looking slightly dated and the bathroom was covered in cracks and chipped paint and tiled. Was hoping for room closer to the esplanade but was put in the middle building. Outdoor pool was not heated but the spa was. Indoor pool and spa were heated nicely. But again, the accomodation was alright. Not flashy. Not great, but alright which is I guess what you pay for nowadays. I would probably pay a little extra to stay somewhere else - perhaps even imperial surf as they came with great views. P.s. was assured of ocean views which I kind of got (once I looked past the vacant parking lot filled with rubbish and graffiti)

Great location but very, very outdated property. We booked two, two-bedroom apartments. Although we stayed during high peak, we def paid too much for what we got. Our tv and foxtel didn't work and we had to request a wifi dongle otherwise wifi wasn't included. The guest car park was confusing and our space wasn't near our elevator/tower making it difficult to cart shopping. One of the apartments was so outdated we refused to use the oven. Wouldn't recommend.
