The Moroccan BreakFree resort staff were courteous, helpful and flexible in assisting me with my stay, especially considering my eleventh hour late check-in and car park assignment. The accommodation itself was modern, comfortable and catered for every need I—and two teenagers—could want. Large rooms, split systems, a pool nearby and barbecue amenities were all very useful, right on the beach. Definitely recommend.

Hi Ricardo, I didn’t want to just put a number on, thought I would send an email. When we checked in at Breakfree Moroccan, painting was occurring on the level we were booked on, we were not advised of this previously. The smell was very over powering and my daughter suffers asthma, when we raised this with the front desk, we were made to feel like idiots and got the reply ‘I have asthma and it doesn’t irritate me’ I asked do you sleep up there, to which the person on the desk said no. Then we were told if you ignore the smell it eventually goes away- I don’t find this something you want to hear on your holiday! I have to say I have not experienced such poor customer service when checking in before. The person on the front desk then got someone higher up, and she wasn’t much better, abrupt and could do with some customer service training. We were eventually offered a different apartment- which there was no painting occurring on that level. We came back down to speak to someone as the bed configuration was different, the response we got was well there is a pull away bed, use that, and you’re lucky we aren’t charging you $35 a day for that. I ended up ringing my travel agent, she said to speak to the manager and the female manager just kept avoiding us. As the kids were exhausted from an earlier flight i said to the travel agent we will make it work. The lady at the front desk said well no one else has complained. I said I find that hard to believe, there was drop sheets everywhere and the smell was very pungent, I was concerned for my children breathing it in. The response we got was don’t worry it’s not harmful- we did not feel reassured. The next day when the wifi wasn’t working, we spoke with a male- possibly yourself, I have to say, even my friend commented how much better your customer service was. Possibly worth getting them to do some training with you. While the rest of our stay was good, there is a big need for the first two people we dealt with to have customer service training, I would not be recommending people to stay at Breakfree Moroccan to be greeted in that way. I feel when booking accommodation, you should be advised of the painting to have a choice. We did not feel reassured it was safe to sleep there. Thanks,

Air-conditioning in the living area only which was inadequate particularly during the hot summer months. The TV needs to be upgraded as the TV screen is similar size to a computer screen. The sliding doors to the bedroom are in need of urgent repair. The WiFi connection kept dropping out.
