Excellent location across from the beach with plenty of good places to eat within walking distances plus the added bonus of shops and a supermarket underneath us. The apartment was tastefully renovated and very clean and comfortable.

We visit every year. This year we got a standard 2 bedroom instead of an executive 2 bedroom and it was definitely evident with the state of the room. Room 1502 in the ballah. But the main let down was the cleanliness. Mould visible on the roof in wardore. No vacuuming done under furniture, could see the dust under coffee table and found dirty sock under the master bed. Windows not cleaned, could see handprints over them the day we arrived. I also found it odd the kitchen cupboard was locked closed, first time in 10 years of staying that i havnt been able to use the cupboard so no where but the bench to store food.

The location of the Paradise Centre is superb. It is right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, with immediate access to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The facilities are excellent. The pool, spa, tennis court, barbecue area, and gym are all very good. The foyer and common areas have clearly been renovated to a high standard, and the property owners should be congratulated for the quality of these upgrades. However, the experience with the individual units seems to depend very much on luck. The unit next door to ours had been beautifully renovated and was extremely modern, and our friends were also staying in a renovated unit. Unfortunately, ours was quite the opposite. Our booking indicated that our apartment was renovated, but it certainly did not appear that way. If it had been renovated at some point, it was either many years ago or the work had been done poorly. The layout felt a little odd, and many of the internal features clearly reflected the age of the building, which is now close to half a century old. There were also some practical issues. The flooring had multiple levels between areas, which could easily become a trip hazard at night. The television was very small and outdated, not really in keeping with modern expectations, and the bed felt more like a double than a queen. It was a pity because the overall building, location, and shared facilities are excellent. However, the quality of the individual unit you receive appears to depend entirely on the particular owner and whether they have invested in renovations. Overall, a fantastic location and very good common facilities, but your experience may vary depending on the specific apartment you are allocated.
