Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms I’ve stayed in are always outdated, there was fresh urine on my doona. Kitchen utensils lacking and old. There are always rude older people in the pool who own apartments in the building who make it super difficult and uncomfortable for kids to have fun and play in the pool.

We recently stayed for 14 nights in Room 1102 Allunga at Paradise Centre Apartments and unfortunately this stay was very disappointing compared to previous visits over the years. Upon arrival, the floors were dirty and there was only one 1/2 empty toilet roll in the ensuite and just 1 toilet roll in the main bathroom with no spare supplies anywhere in the apartment. We had to go out ourselves and purchase cockroach spray because cockroaches were coming up through the bathroom drains daily (we have videos of this). The apartment also had no cooking pots or pans available for us to use to cook meals during our stay like previous stays. Another major disappointment was housekeeping. We were advised that linen and towels would be changed after eight days, however our linen or towels were not changed once during the entire 14-night stay, despite asking reception twice, this was never resolved. The air conditioning was barely working and blowing hot air. We ended up checking the filter ourselves and found it completely blocked with dust, so we had to clean it ourselves just to make the air conditioning usable. To top it off, there were someone else’s clothes left in the bedroom cupboard when we arrived, which really raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and attention to detail. We have stayed at Paradise Centre Apartments many times over the years and have always enjoyed it, but considering the hefty price we paid this time, the standard was nowhere near acceptable. Sadly, we may need to look elsewhere for accommodation next year.

We have stayed at this location several times over the last few years. This stay was especially good because the unit we stayed in this time had been recently refurbished so it was clean and comfortable. Overall the location is good, close to beach, light rail, shops (Woolworths and BWS downstairs) as well as some good restaurants and pubs nearby. The reception staff are friendly and happy to help out with ideas etc. As we like to travel light (carry-on) the self contained unit with Washer and Dryer is a bonus as well as the full kitchen.
