We understand how important it is for guests to have keys and appropriate bedding provided. We apologise that we did not have a third key immediately available - two keys are provided as standard for all apartments, and the owner must be consulted for a new key to be sought. Knowing that this request was paramount to you, we worked hard to attain the key, despite requiring time to procure this. Regarding the condition of the doonas and the way this situation was handled, this is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and we apologise for the disappointment caused. Housekeeping have been informed to ensure better practise going forward. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. Well located, friendly staff very helpful handy facilities. Only complaint is the mattress felt like it was far too hard and it was more comfortable to lay on the couch. My only complaint :) if you want a mattress like that, then this is the place for you

We were recommended your accomodation by friends but didn't enjoy our stay. There were many maintenance issues; our bedroom light was taped to off, kids bedroom curtain rail broken and other curtains off the hooks and mould spots on them. The kids TV remote didn't match the TV brand or have batteries. Cleanliness particularly in the bathrooms and in places like under the beds and couches was poor. We found a lot of hair, an old sock, lip balm and paper bits in corners and under couches when looking for a missing payment card. Our body wash was watered down, body lotion run out etc. With the apartments not being serviced it was unclear if we should contact reception and ask for more. The washing machine and dryer were helpful with the apartment not being serviced but the dryer took over 6 hours to dry towels. Our experience at reception on arrival was poor/rude and we didn't feel we would get anywhere by asking for these things to be topped up mid stay. The facilities were good but very tired and poorly cleaned. Location, view, pool and gym were all great but the apartment itself wasn't up to standard for the cost.

We have stayed several times before and love the location. Previously we have been in one bedroom apartments. This time we had a two bedroom. We asked to be placed close (at least in the same tower) as our friends (well before our arrival). The guy on reception was very unhelpful, not interested in helping us and generally unfriendly. Almost sarcastic. Our apartment was not clean, with crumbs on the tiles and fingerprints over the windows. Some of the windows were very dirty. Many of the blinds were damaged. The furniture was damaged and old. We paid $3,900 and would not say it was worth it.

We had 3 bedroom apartment and staff refused to give us 3 room keys. It was only after 2 days of emails and complaining that they finally relented and gave us a third key. No doona( bedding )was provided just sheets. When we asked for bedding the next day staff literally dumped 4 doona on the floor in a big pile( Doona had blood stains on them). Management didnt seem to care about this at all.

Overall experience was great, the staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, I have never had all staff so friendly and helpful before. Normally one at least will be more than unhelpful. Even the maintenance man was friendly and great at his job without and excuses.

We are regulars to the Paradise Centre Apartments staying 2-3 times a year at a week each time. Normally the rooms are beautiful, renovated and very comfortable. Sadly we were given a room that was very tired, in need to renovation. The furniture was original, the lounge was extremely worn out, as were the other pieces of furniture. The dining table was ok but it had outdoor furniture chairs to sit on around it. And the chairs out on the balcony were rusted through, broken and worn out. Also the cleanliness of the room was well Below what we are used to at the apartments. I needed to clean the balcony windows as we couldn’t see out, there was a lot of dust under the main bed and behind the bedsides as well as in the main walk in wardrobe. We did enjoy our week as we always do. The rest of the facilities like the pool, tennis courts grounds and common areas were all perfect, clean and beautiful. The staff were amazing as they always are friendly and so helpful. It was just the room that let them down.

Overall disappointing

We sincerely apologise for the cleanliness concerns you experienced during your stay. We also understand your frustration regarding the dishwasher not being repaired during your visit. We appreciate how inconvenient this would have been, particularly as you had brought the issue to our attention. As your request was received over the weekend, we arranged for a member of our reception team to attend and assist with the dishwasher, and to hand-wash the dishes on your behalf as a gesture of goodwill. While we understand this did not resolve the underlying issue, we hope it helped to ease the inconvenience while our maintenance team worked towards a resolution. We have taken your feedback seriously and we will be reviewing the matters raised with both our housekeeping and maintenance teams. Easy check in process and helpful staff. Can't beat the location right near all the food and shops. Great ameneties with the gym, spa and pool. Apartment had full kitchen and washer & dryer which was very convenient. Apartment we stayed in does need a minor refurb. Ensuite shower door does not shut properly causing water to leak out of shower, carpets were very dated and the windows very dirty reducing ability to enjoy the nice view. Overall good experience but some improvements would have made the experience better.

We have stayed here for one week in Sept/Oct for the last 4 years and have loved it every time. This time I booked 2 apartments (2BR exec and 1 BR exec) as we had a couple and a family of 4. Both rooms were refurbished, clean and new..both in Ballah. In fact during the stay one of the washing machines was replaced for a new one even though it was working well before hand, which shows the maintenance is being kept up. The apartments are close to the beach and loads of restaurants. We tend to self cater a fair bit so the woolworths at the base of the building and BWS are convinient. The pool was heated and in fact quite warm, which for the cool weather we had low 20's was great. We had two hire cars and had no issues with carparking in the building secure carpark. We didnt get time to use the gyms this trip but have used several times before and they have all the amentities. The staff on greeting and when we left were friendly and helpful as always. I would recommend Paradise centre apartments for people that are looking for a central location, seeking value for money with the self catering and washing machines. Also its very close to the Cavill avenue light rail stop so using the 50 cent public transport is simple and saves on a hire car if your not venturing to far from Surfers.

We have stayed many times before, we had a great time. My only disappointment this time round was your management lady told my 7 year old son off for having his scooter at the pool entrance area, he wasn't even riding it and we were just meeting everyone to see what we were going to do, she directed it at him and not his parents who were there, she was quite rude about it.
