BreakFree Imperial Surf's 1 and 2 bedroom Surfers Paradise apartments have everything you need for your holiday - full kitchen facilities, laundry, TV and security access. To top it all off, all apartments include a balcony with ocean and Gold Coast skyline views. The hotel has all the resort facilities you need for your Gold Coast holiday including an indoor and outdoor heated pool, spa, steam room, tennis court, BBQ facilities and tour desk. *Please note all room requsts are subject to availability.

Take a short walk to Cavill Avenue where you can hit the shops, or spend time at one of the many cafes or restaurants. When the sun sets the Surfers Paradise nightlife takes over and all the nightclubs are only a short walk from BreakFree Imperial Surf.

Please note we are a cashless property, all payments will be required via a valid credit or debit card. From 1 Feb - 30 Aug 2024, we will not have a visitor carpark or be able to accommodate for cars over 1.9m. We suggest guests who have cars over the max height to park at the Cypress Gardens Carpark which is a short walk from the hotel and is paid parking. Construction is underway on the ground floor, which may create noise. While our visitor car park might have closures, basement parking is available.

Well located unit with poor cancellation policies

Booked for 3 nights. Forced to pack up and leave unit less than 22 hours after checking in due to the onset of cyclone alfred. Breakfree were totally unsympathetic to the situation and believed customers should just remain in units until checkout without garuantees that essential services would remain available or any concern for guest safety. I checked out after government officials had declared the disaster imminent and had announced the closure of all public transport and the Gold Coast airport from the evening of my checkout. Reception were fully aware of all of this information at the time of check out. Remaining at the hotel would also likely have resulted in the loss of my vehicle due to the buildings potential for basement flooding, or alternatively moving my car to an exposed car park risking storm and debris damage. I understand a cyclone is out of your control, but it is also out of my control. How exactly is a customer expected to check out and leave accommodation in the middle of a cyclone, while the government is warning the population to 'Shelter in place'?

Booked two deluxe 2brm apartments on a higher floor with ocean front, received one on the 7th D side and the other on the 9th C side. Understand that this cant be guaranteed. Asked the receptionist if possible to move to a higher floor though she was not interested in helping just saying that she would look into it. Later received an email stating that we could not move due to being full. The next day spoke with another receptionist who couldn't be more helpful and allowed us to move from the 7th floor to 20th.
