Disappointed we did not know the indoor pool and spa were not in operation .. we have been many times and love your hotel but I was under strict pool physio daily and your outdoor pool was most uncomfortable with the wind factor shade noise from building sites and sprayed by the window washer .. actually made me laugh. Hoping our next stay will be better

We came for my husband's 60th birthday. Were thinking we had an ocean front view but had a side ocean view which was still good but not what we were expecting. Staff tried to change our room but unfortunately it was fully booked. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made it a very pleasant stay. The unit was an older style but very clean, tidy and well equipped. Air conditioning only in main living area but fans throughout. Inside pool was closed for renovations unfortunately but outside pool was heated for winter. Great location. Quieter area near life saver flags on the beach. Walkable to Cavill Avenue and restaurants, etc. Very comfortable stay

We booked a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment to come to the pacific airshow. The apartment was on the right side of the building at the back with very limited views of the beach which was very disappointing given the purpose of the booking. The apartment would have been great for a general stay but we specifically booked for the airshow twelve months out. We spoke to reception and after initially being told there was nothing that could be done, a room change was organised for the Friday. I want to say a huge thank you as the position was perfect and you absolutely made my husband VERY happy. I cannot thank you enough for assisting us with this. This was a dream of his to attend the airshow and the move made the experience perfect. The only other feedback we had was that the rangehood in 19D desperately needed a clean. It was full of fat. Thankyou again for helping to turn around what was a disappointing start to our holiday into a special experience. (We arrived at the airport to be told we couldn’t get the car we hired and then we found the room didnt provide the view of the airshow. It wasnt a great start but you turned it around for us. THANK YOU) One more thing was we didnt have bathmats or hand towels in 19D but we did in 14A.

That is definitely worth highlighting — six stays and consistently accommodating the same-apartment request shows why you keep returning. Review title: Our Sixth Stay and Still Our Favourite Place in Surfers Paradise Review: This was our sixth stay at BreakFree Imperial Surf, and there is a reason we keep coming back. Every time we visit, the team has kindly fulfilled our request for the same apartment, which we truly appreciate and is one of the things that makes each stay feel so comfortable and familiar. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach and within easy walking distance of everything in Surfers Paradise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with beautiful ocean views, and it has always been a great home base for our Gold Coast holidays. After six stays, we continue to be extremely happy with our experience. A big thank you to the team for consistently looking after us and making our stays enjoyable. We will definitely be back again!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Though dated, the unit was clean and had everything that we needed, including clothes washing facilities. The beach was directly opposite and the view was unobstructed, making for perfect sunrises. The property was centrally located to shopping centres and public transport. The cost was quite reasonable and included an underground car spot. If and when we return to Queensland, we would definitely be happy to stay there again.

Great location, view and a spacious apartment. However furniture was not very comfortable. We had to use cushions to make ourselves comfortable. Patio furniture also need replacing.

All good only i saw a few germen cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom and bedroom.

A stop off for 2 nights, convenient and comfortable Just one thing though - shower taps need updating in main bathroom as my elderly sister had trouble turning them on and off. They were very stiff. Apart from that no complaints and will come again !

Just be aware that no house cleaning during ur stay. No new towels or any cleaning at all. Its like booking an airbnb. I think even with airbnb u get more of cleaning products. They will charge u if u left the some rubbish.

As advised to all guests, dishes are to be washed, dried, and put away, and rubbish removed prior to departure to avoid extra cleaning fees. This is standard practice in self-contained apartment accommodation. A complimentary welcome pack is provided on arrival, and any additional supplies can be purchased or requested from Reception. Room wasn’t ready until after 3 pm

Thanks for taking the time to rate and comment on your recent stay, it is unfortunate that we are not able to assist everyone with a early checkin. Unfortunately for us, we stayed on one of the windiest nights which made enjoying the balcony impossible. The unit was extremely beautiful. Needs a little TLC in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets but the overall room was lovely. The doors and windows however require updating ad they rattled all night in the wind and we got very little sleep. There was only 2 teaspoons in the kitchen and the tableware was very mix matched but there were sufficient plates and cups for everyone. The indoor pool is closed, but the spa was lovely and hot and the sauna perfect. The location is perfect. Easy access and amazing views of both the sea and the mountains. Despite the wind and rattling doors and windows, our stay was was very enjoyable. Having to sign up for wifi was a disappointment though.
