Check in was delayed as only one person on reception desk who had to deal with a resident's complaint. Unit is in serious need of upgrade and proper attention to cleaning. Entrance door paint was chipped; hallway/kitchen tiles chipped/cracked and were not clean. Kitchen and appliances were dirty and had not been cleaned. Oven had foil in griller with burnt food; oven was dirty from ingrained grease and had buttons missing and therefore inoperable. Kitchen drawers were falling apart and in some cupboards the flooring was lifting. Bathrooms were not cleaned and were mouldy in places; tiles were broken and not well maintained. Door handle on ensuite shower was inoperable from the inside and could not be closed. Walls in hallway were dirty.

Room's wi-fi did not work and after querying, was not provided with any remedy and simply told some of the rooms have poor coverage, living room fan only had one setting (slow), on check in was lied to about no longer providing the welcome drink (Accorplus Gold) as my sister received one checking in after me. Location was first class and other than check in and wi-fi query, staff were friendly. On second last day workers had left a portable scaffold trolley in my parking bay and when I went and found someone, was told gruffingly that the hotel was supposed to have told me it would be there.

Views were great but there were some maintenance issues (door lock, front doors of building didn’t open at one stage so we had to exit through the basement, temperamental shower in ensuite etc.

Not the best Accor we have stayed at. Only one air con in main room, none in main bedroom. We had a car park at the very bottom but no lift access, wasn’t told this at check in, so had got most of our gear out to then have to repack the car to drive close to the lift on the next level, before going back to park. Very dark at night and lights were eerie. Wasn’t asked if I wanted an upgrade (gold member). Had to ask for a welcome gift and was given a bottle of sparkling water and 4 chocolates.

Next to beach. Easy to park. Kindly reception. Well renovated. 7.5/10 cleaness. One cockroach in bedroom and some rubbish from last customer in the bin.
