BreakFree Imperial Surf's 1 and 2 bedroom Surfers Paradise apartments have everything you need for your holiday - full kitchen facilities, laundry, TV and security access. To top it all off, all apartments include a balcony with ocean and Gold Coast skyline views. The hotel has all the resort facilities you need for your Gold Coast holiday including an indoor and outdoor heated pool, spa, steam room, tennis court, BBQ facilities and tour desk. *Please note all room requsts are subject to availability.

Take a short walk to Cavill Avenue where you can hit the shops, or spend time at one of the many cafes or restaurants. When the sun sets the Surfers Paradise nightlife takes over and all the nightclubs are only a short walk from BreakFree Imperial Surf.

Please note we are a cashless property; all payments must be made via a valid credit or debit card. The card used for accommodation must be presented at check-in with matching photo ID. A $200 security deposit is required on arrival. Vehicles over 2m cannot be accommodated onsite; please use street parking or Cypress Gardens Carpark (paid) located behind the hotel. Lift upgrades are in progress, with one lift out of service at all times. Delays may occur. Works are scheduled for completion late 2026.

30 min to be able to check in, after finding the reception closed at 5pm. I arrived at 7pm. Had no idea and had to find a number to call, tired from a 4am start to the day. I was then told by the after hrs team I had no booking but to hold, 6 min later I hung up. Called my travel agent who called after hrs and then called me back, saying they'd found it. I called back after hrs having been told to ask for someone by name. On hold another 6 min. Hung up and called back to be told that person was busy. I then explained that I was tired and sitting in my car outside a deserted building and needed help. They did help. By accident the automatic doors worked after being told I would have to tailgate someone into the foyer to get to the key safe. Remember its deserted so this was lucky. Just not suitable for business travellers and your after hrs team dont know their job. Staying Mon to Fri for 2 more months but found somewhere more suitable.

For what we paid, it was not worth the money. Only one lift in the building was working, and when we got in the unit we found that the sliding door to the balcony could not be opened. On the bright side, the Receptionist that booked us in was lovely.

Great location close to the shops and restaurants very clean and spacious comfortable rooms beautiful views friendly staff very helpful and polite nice pool and outdoor area

You are paying mostly for the view!! The apartment was very rundown with shower doors not working causing water to flow onto the floor and creating slip risks, cupboards and drawers were hard to open, the lounges were grossly stained and could do with a steam clean, there were no cleaning products or tea towels provided and there were cockroaches and ants in the kitchen. However, the apartment was very spacious, linen and floors were clean and the view was spectacular. I don't mind retro, old or aged but the apartment we stayed in needs some investment!!
