BreakFree Imperial Surf's 1 and 2 bedroom Surfers Paradise apartments have everything you need for your holiday - full kitchen facilities, laundry, TV and security access. To top it all off, all apartments include a balcony with ocean and Gold Coast skyline views. The hotel has all the resort facilities you need for your Gold Coast holiday including an indoor and outdoor heated pool, spa, steam room, tennis court, BBQ facilities and tour desk. *Please note all room requsts are subject to availability.

Take a short walk to Cavill Avenue where you can hit the shops, or spend time at one of the many cafes or restaurants. When the sun sets the Surfers Paradise nightlife takes over and all the nightclubs are only a short walk from BreakFree Imperial Surf.

Please note we are a cashless property; all payments must be made via a valid credit or debit card. The card used for accommodation must be presented at check-in with matching photo ID. A $200 security deposit is required on arrival. Vehicles over 2m cannot be accommodated onsite; please use street parking or Cypress Gardens Carpark (paid) located behind the hotel. Lift upgrades are in progress, with one lift out of service at all times. Delays may occur. Works are scheduled for completion late 2026.

We were arriving in the evening (outside of office hours) which was a strangely challenging experience. Call a number (sit on hold) to open the boom gates. Get to the front door. Call the same number (sit on hold) to be allowed inside the lobby and be given the password for the safe. Enter lobby, retrieve keys, exit the hotel grounds and re-enter via the locked car park. Unfortunately there was a wait time for both calls, and the lady could open neither the boom gates nor the front door. I ended up leaving the car on the road and then waiting for someone to exit the lobby so I could enter. After that it was better but this experience is- frankly - crap. I hy not just give the code when we advise we can’t make the check in time? Room was basic but ok. Lifts appear to be under renovation so lots of wires etc. Oven was dirty (lots of tin foil in the oven, large bits of frozen fish attached to the foil in the baking tray). Beds were comfy, apartment size was good, views were great. A good cheap getaway which was just marred by the initial experience
