While we undertake façade improvements, our Pool & Spa opening hours are adjusted as follows: *Weekdays - 4PM to 10PM; *Weekends, Queensland school holidays, and public holidays - remain open all day; Minimal noise may occur, but we're committed to keeping it as low as possible. At the time of check in, Lorrelle Barnett who is the guest experience manager came to the counter. i asked if there was any opportunity for an upgrade or early check in and she rudely told me that i should build another floor on top of the hotel so she can upgrade me or anyone who asks. this was very unnecessary for her to say and very rude. As a gold member and a very loyal ALL member i didnt expect this service from them. once we got the room, we went in and there was a very foul smell. we called the reception and they sent a few people to inspect and they all agreed that the smell in the room was bad and they tried to spray and also put in a machine to get rid of the smell but they couldnt. we asked if our room could be changed but they said they couldnt. the smell was soo strong that it caused us headache and couldnt sleep well that night. we had booked the room for the marathon and was really hoping we could get a good rest but sadly wasnt the case. we paid alot of money for the room but was a really bad experience.
