Accommodation was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Desk staff unable to give details on how to get about - asked three different people at different time, including where public bus at the front went to - "I don't know" was the answer. Customer service could/should be improved. On entry into my room, I could hear water running. Had to go down to the desk to get maintenance to investigate Also, when asked if I needed to book at taxi for a 6am flight - I was originally told at check in to catch the train!!! NO PHONE available to call reception, only a tiny sticker on the bed head with instructions to call a mobile number. Too small Doesn't help if you are unable to read it and if you take ill in the night. Overall I would think twice about staying there again.

Stay was ok, anything beyond 2 nights I would need to vacate. Noisy hotel lifts with 801 backing onto them the noise subsided around 10pm. Someone was smoking in a room and triggered the smoke alarm, walking down 8 flights which there was no staff guidance. Hotel showing its age especially in the hall ways and painting. Location was ok just outside of the main cbd terrace area. Automated check out feature was really good and nice to see. Would be nice to have some complimentary water to drink.

Arrived, checkin was good. Got to the room, immediately noticed how the air-conditioning rattled and made a lot of noise. In the bathroom, the shower/bath had a yellow stain in it. Then looking on the wall, there were red marks which looked like dried blood on the wall and clearly had not been wiped down. Anytime anyone showered in surrounding rooms, you could hear the water lines in the walls and ceiling. The fire alarm going off was an added bonus to which no communication of what actually occurred was provided or an apology.
