The room was excellent, the whole hotel was amazing, very central located to our needs. The only two issues we had was, the hotel carpark was booked up didn't know we needed to enquire about it, and the other was the keycard for the elevator, it was some nice young men who showed us how to use it as we've never experienced that before. It wasn't explained to us how to use it, front desk should not assume that people do...

Because its close to the courts its also surrounded by the type that go to court. Old, dated and even after calling and confirming a interconnected room was available before booking and when making the booking on checkin they claimed there was none avaialable and would I accept side by side rooms. I said no and magically after 5 mins an interconnecting room appeared, is this lazyness from front desk not wanting too look? I had to request 4x to have the connecting door unlocked, was told it was unlocked to find it still wasnt and same when wanting it locked after my friend checked out a day earlier than me, I was told it was done after requesting it 3x to find it NOT locked. The phone at reception would be hungup on when I tried to call. Atleast Mercure on Irvine st has great reception that goes above and beyond. I would recomend staying there over this Mercure.
