There was a fire alarm at 11pm and I had a flight at 6am. Wasnt happy having to get up and evacuate. Esp when it was a false alarm. Room clean was a half job.

Won’t be staying again! Hops food is not edible. Had to return “brisket” replaced with Caesar salad , chicken smelt so bad i couldn’t eat it. Order from bar you can put against the room. A hatchback struggled to get in & turn corner to park due to the linen cages.

Great location and convenient for getting around, but unfortunately the hotel feels quite dated and could really use some renovation and modernisation. The room and facilities are showing their age, and unfortunately, the television wasn’t working during my stay. The location is definitely the main highlight, but the hotel could be much better with some updates and better maintenance.

The hotel was dirty, particularly the breakfast bar, the shared jar of Vegemite that was clearly out of date, rock hard and stale. The bread baskets full of stale bread and crumbs. I sent photos of this via a complaint after being charged for breakfast, $35 for two slices of toast with only butter as the other condiments were disgusting.

Accommodation was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Desk staff unable to give details on how to get about - asked three different people at different time, including where public bus at the front went to - "I don't know" was the answer. Customer service could/should be improved. On entry into my room, I could hear water running. Had to go down to the desk to get maintenance to investigate Also, when asked if I needed to book at taxi for a 6am flight - I was originally told at check in to catch the train!!! NO PHONE available to call reception, only a tiny sticker on the bed head with instructions to call a mobile number. Too small Doesn't help if you are unable to read it and if you take ill in the night. Overall I would think twice about staying there again.
