Lovely and generous sized rooms. The staff were really helpful - I had made an error with the booking, and they rectified the issue with ease. It will be even better once the renovation and bistro is complete.

Staff member on morning checkout was great, but otherwise who wants to stay on A. building site. Could cope with inconvenience on recent stays but the key not being able to let me in after 10pm made me feel safe. Staff member on duty was aware that it wasn’t going to work, despite A. sign on the door saying otherwise. Seriously unsafe , path to temporary entry dark and dangerous.

I was very concerned to read your comments regarding the late-night access arrangements and the temporary entry pathway. While we are currently undertaking A. significant refurbishment to improve the hotel for the future, I completely understand your frustration with the disruption and inconvenience experienced during this period. - the Entrance was very confusing due to renovation. - Room was nice but bathroom layout was very weird with mirror and sink in different direction.

I’m sorry that your arrival experience was frustrating due to the renovations and temporary entrance setup. I completely understand how confusing it can feel, especially after travelling and just wanting a smooth check-in experience. Your suggestion regarding additional signage is a very good one, and we are continuing to improve this for arriving guests. I’m also sorry to hear the bathroom presentation and layout did not fully meet expectations. The comments regarding the water marks and cleanliness around the sink area have been shared with our housekeeping team for follow-up. Thank you as well for your honest feedback about the breakfast arrangement with our partner. While many guests enjoy the partnership, I understand it may not have been what you expected, particularly with the fixed menu inclusions.
