Was very disappointing as Air conditioning wasn't working

As an Accor Platinum member, I am very disappointed with my recent stay at Mantra Legends Surfers Paradise. This property did not meet basic Accor standards, let alone Platinum expectations. Firstly, there was no welcome amenity or recognition at all upon arrival. As a Platinum member, this is normally a standard practice across Accor properties, yet nothing was provided here. Secondly, the room was very old and poorly maintained, with a strong old-building smell. The overall condition felt dated and unpleasant, far from what I would expect from a 4-star Accor hotel. Thirdly, the housekeeping service was rough and careless. The room was not properly cleaned, and trash was left uncleared, which is unacceptable. Fourthly, when I requested basic amenities such as a toothbrush and slippers, I was told these would be charged separately. At other Accor hotels, these items are usually provided complimentary, especially for elite members. This was very disappointing. Finally, upon checkout, I was charged an unexplained AUD 6 fee, with no clear or reasonable explanation given by the staff. Overall, the service attitude and professionalism of the staff were very poor, lacking basic service standards. Given the overall experience, this stay was well below Accor Platinum expectations. I am extremely dissatisfied and can give no more than one star.
