We stayed for 3 nights in January 2025. The hotel is close to the tramline making it easy to get to from the airport. QLD public transport is currently 50 cents per trip, which is awesome! We had a room on a high floor overlooking the pool and beach. Great spot. It's easy to walk to the main part of Surfers Paradise from the hotel. It's nice and quiet as it's a couple of streets back from the craziness of Surfers. The air con is great. The beds were nice and comfy. Would have preferred to have blankets available in the room - we had sheets and a very light cover - and I assume we could've asked, but we didn't want to. The breakfast buffet is great (I received a text offering me 20% off but when I mentioned it at checkout I was told I was already getting 20% off, but that wasn't correct. I checked later. A small blemish, but a little annoying). The pool area is good, only suggestion would be for more umbrellas as there were only a couple so most of the deckchairs were in the sun. The lifts could be quite slow at times and it appeared that all 3 weren't always running. I noticed another review commented on the lifts being wet. This is due to some guests not reading the very clear signs to dry off before getting into the lift. Some people were just wandering from the pool into the lift with no towels. Not the hotel's fault. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect location, but small room, I booked and paid for a delux studio (so wasn’t expecting a huge room) but it was more like a studio and was having to share a bed with a 12 year old for a week. There were also drain flys floating around the room constantly. The breakfast is also a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. Most staff were generally really helpful and pleasant and others clearly didn’t want to be there. Was also charged different prices for drinks on a couple of occasions - a bit more consistency would be good. Again the location of the place is so good though, walking distance of 5 mins max to anything you need. Would still recommend staying here.

The room was very clean, quiet and well appointed. The balcony had great views of the ocean and the river. It was a short walk to the heart of Surfer’s and with the beach at the end of street everything was very close at hand.

Fantastic. The rooms were spacious and the girls had their own rooms adjoining to ours. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast. WOW we chose the package with all you can eat and there was so much variety and staff were great and very accommodating if we needed anything. The pool was so nice. Just one suggestion is to have a clock around the pool area as you don’t know the time is as you’re in the pool. Easy access to the beach and shops. Would highly recommend Mantra Legends and we would definitely come back as we all loved it.
