The room was so noisy, where you can hear the noise coming from the corridor or from the next room, the AC sound was so loud too! The covers in the room weren't enought, how can a flat sheet be enough ?! A blanket was provided later, it's winter and it's cold, and it wasn't enough I had to buy an extra blanket! I was entitled for an upgrade as an accor member.. the General manager confirmed the availablity, then later on he changed his mind, I was staying for 5 nights, and I even asked for some nights upgrade which they refused! I wasn't happy in my stay at all

I will start off with saying that the front desk staff were amazingly helpful and pleasant. However, the first room we were given seemed like it had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom floor was filthy, the desk had juice stains and overall the 12th floor lift area was just grotty. The room on level 16 was marginally better but there were still clear signs that cleaning is not a priority. I wanted to be able to recommend the hotel to family but aside from your staff being lovely the hotel appears rundown and in need of a good clean. And the third lift may need maintenance because the doors got stuck and almost didn’t open on one of my trips up - even when pressing the open button several times. Also the lights in room 1619 flicker (desk lamp, and bathroom lights in the evening) and the shower screen leaks. Breakfast was great too.
