Unfortunately I did not feel like a valued Accor Vacation or Accor Plus member. I had made contact to see if it was at all possible for an early checkin due to attending a wedding. Was advised that the room would be made a priority to be ready, after various calls up til 1pm this did not occur and I had to checkin between the ceremony and reception. Further disappointment when I was not allocated free drinks as in the past on all stays with properties I have stayed in.

Great hotel & staff. Brilliant location.

I stayed in the Mantra Legends hotel for 6 days before cyclone Alfred hit, my time was up on the day after the cyclone hit. I had been trying to get a flight home but flights continued to be canceled one flight after another. Because my time in my Accor apartment was up I had to move into another room and pay above normal price before they would let me into the room (not as it normally would happen, on checkout) we had very limited power that day/night we kept loosing it all together on and off. there was a threat of fire that come over the PA system telling people not to panic as they tried to fix the generator. There was no lifts working. And the next day we were asked to leave and go to another hotel as they could not fix the generator and they would not be serving food. Even though all this was happening they still charged above the normal night fee ahead of my extra nights stay. Of course I paid it as I thought I had to or be out on the street. I believe this was to take advantage of people who thought they had no other option.

Do to Cyclone Alfred our holiday was complex. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room didn't get serviced due to shortages. We walked up 12 flights as the power was out. We did have lightning in our room though. Under the circumstances your hotel did well.
