The rooms were dirty. Dust bunnies hanging off the fan and vents for the bathroom heaters. Dirty dishwasher and cups that were put away previously. Jamming door to balcony, extremely poor internet that was not up to Accor standard. I contacted the hotel GM but had no reply.

Great stay! Arrived for the Pacific Airshow for 3 days and had great views being on the 25th level. Two downfalls were due to the salt being close to the beach may of the blinds had mould and the indoor pool (we didn’t experience the outdoor ones - too cold) the chlorine had stripped color from mine and my son’s swimwear. My daughters and partners were fine.

Reception was excellent and helpful.501 unit needed maintenance and lounge old uncomfortable and dining chairs need cleaning, internet could nor be connected. 502 was not as clean as it should have been. Needed more towels in 502.

The position and ammenities of Longbeach were great. Pool in particular was a highlight. The unit however was disappointing. The cushions on the lounge were threadbare and needed replacing. There was bedding (quilt covers/ blankets) that also need a good wash - stains etc. The apartment looked clean on first glance, however the splashback, kitchen cupboards and glass doors all need a good clean. There was also a musty smell that never seemed to leave- despite trying to leave doors open as much as possible. One of the handrails on the main bedroom balcony is even loose! Wardrobe doors that are old and don’t close properly and old, mismatched furniture and weirdly placed artworks/mirrors just gave the whole unit a tired worn out feel. I did better decorating my holiday unit in NSW using secondhand furniture etc from Facebook Marketplace! The kitchen had lots of cooking utensils- however only 3 mismatched eating bowls! Was quite disappointed, as I rejoined Accor Plus with the hope of being able to book accommodation with the assurance of certain quality. Not sure I will book a Breakfree apartment again!

We have stayed at Breakfree Longbeach for 3 out of the last 4 years and have always been happy. We were happy this year as well, however if there was any feedback to be given for improvement, the cleanliness of the apartment was probably not up to standard. We found toenails on the floor, there was an open cylinder of Pringles underneath the bed in the main bedroom, and my son dropped something down the side of the couch, so I removed the cushion and the amount of food and crumbs under there looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. There were also a few maintenance issues, the tap handle in the ensuite shower comes off when you turn it on, the rangehood blows the air back out instead of sucking it up (I think it may be blocked) and some of the cookware had been put away without being cleaned properly. But as I mentioned, all in all, we had a fantastic time and will be back time and time again :)

Really enjoyed our three night stay at Longbeach. The apartment was well appointed and a fantastic view to the water (between the buildings). The spa was heated which was perfect during winter although we were hoping the indoor pool might have been a few degrees warmer. Only issue was the bedroom tv was broken and the screen didn't work. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable stay.

Waited 20 minutes outside in the wind and rain for the late checkin phone to answer, we had advised we would be late. Had been “upgraded” to a two bedroom unit. This was one of the worst rooms we have ever been given The carpet was stained and lifting from the floor in places, there was black tape holding an architrave together, rusty fittings hanging by one screw in the bathroom, jammed blinds that wouldn’t go up or down, mould on the bottom of the blinds in the bedroom, cracks running down the wall and we couldn’t get the wardrobe doors to slide open. The next morning we asked to be moved and we were given a one bedroom which is what we booked that actually looked like the photos on the website. This only worked as we were leaving the hotel for two nights. Funnily enough our friends checked in the next day and got an “upgraded to a two bedroom which was also terrible, not the same one as ours 2604, they also refused it and took a a one bedroom instead.

We arrived at 11.30 at night but had let Breakfree know we would be late, I stood in the wind and rain for over twenty minutes trying to get an answer on the after hours number. We were “upgraded” to a two bedroom apartment and it was terrible. The carpet was stained, it was also lifting away from the doorways, the bottom of the blinds had mould and dust on them, there was duct tape holding one of the door architraves together, a blind was hanging down at an angle and could not be put up or down, we couldn’t slide the wardrobe doors open as the runners were jammed, there were old rusty fittings hanging by one screw in the bathroom, there were gouges out of the wallpaper on one wall and a crack running the full height of another wall. We left the apartment the next day and asked to be downgraded back to our one bedroom apartment. This wasn’t available until two nights later, fortunately we were heading away for two nights so we’re able to fit in with this. We inspected a new apartment that looked much more like the photos on your website, it was still tired and needed some maintenance but it wasn’t as obvious in this one. The cleaners don’t appear to move anything when they clean as under the couch was filthy as is the vent in the bathroom which is thick with dust. Funnily enough we had friends check in the next night, they too were “upgraded” and refused their two bedroom apartment as well due to the condition. We checked in on the 4/6 and our apartment was finally serviced 17/6 no where near half way through as advised. I was extremely disappointed as I make a point of booking Accor for all our trips if available and feel that the amount that I paid was not commensurate with the standard of the accommodation. I look forward to your resolution of this poor quality stay.
