Please be advised there are multiple adjacent sites currently undergoing major development. As such, the property is being impacted by intermittent noise works that are beyond our control. Our tennis courts will be closed from May 5th to May 16th due to scheduled maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mantra Sun City. From the moment I walked through the door, everything was perfect. The staff were welcoming and informative, nothing was too much trouble for them. The resort is perfectly located right at a tram stop and one street back from the beach. The apartment was spacious and very clean, it had all amenities you could require. The bed was very comfortable. The gym, sauna and pools were perfect for relaxing in - I only came across 3 people in these shared spaces during my stay so it was very peaceful. The maintenance team were very friendly when they were cleaning around the pools. There is a lot of construction in the area in general but the noise was not too disruptive.

We have stayed at Mantra Sun City as our preferred accommodation on the Gold Coast, however the past 3 times we have been there, including this trip, the indoor spa has not been working. Which means 1 or 2 things happening here. Either it breaks down on a regular basis or it hasn’t been fixed in the past 12-18 months. Water is not hot like a spa should be and the jets don’t work. Even the indoor heated pool wasn’t as warm as normal. The outdoor spa wasn’t very warm either and considering how windy and cold it is out there, makes using the facilities uncomfortable. These facilities are one of the key reasons we stay at Sun City, so we would think about staying elsewhere next trip if this is not working.

My actual stay was ok, room is a bit tired but was good value for money with parking available on site. After leaving I somehow had $125AUD of additional charges on my credit card that I did not authorise. I emailed the hotel initially with no response so I phoned and got someone at reception who said they can’t see any of those charges being made, only the one for my parking. They asked me to email them screenshots which I did and never heard back. Tried to call again today but their phone seems disconnected? Steer clear of this place I think. Accor should drop these clowns asap
