While I didn’t expect anything spectacular from this property, the lack of cleanliness was incredibly disappointing. The apartment was like it had never had a deep clean in years. There was dust literally hanging from the ceilings and doors, and marks everywhere. We were also given two towels, when I asked for more (to wash my hair) reception tried to charge me extra which felt ridiculous (I note there was a charge for beach towels, which makes sense but charging for one extra towel for use in the apartment seemed excessive). There were also young people sleeping all day in the lobby when we first arrived. It was good having washer and dryer in the room. Note the aircon is also on a timer and turns off less than hourly which was inconvenient in 30°+

We arrived after 6pm and we were never told how to get into the building let alone get our keys. It took us a good 30 minutes to finally get hold of someone to let us in and give us instructions as these were never relayed to us. Then we get to our room and I was so disappointed. I was ready to get on the next flight home. From the photos and when I made the booking, it looked a lot nicer than the room we received. Also, there was only one split system in the whole apartment which was at the furthest point away from the bedrooms and it was very hot in the bedrooms I went down to reception the next morning and luckily they did change us to another room which did have air-conditioning and was in better condition. The only downside was even though we didn’t use anything except sleep in the bed they charged us an extra $105 cleaning fee. I should also mention the condition of the cleaning that is done is not very good at all. The floors are not vacuumed or cleaned properly and the condition of the bathrooms have mould or rusty items inside. Overall, the place is old and very tired looking and could do with a bit of an upgrade. Would I stay here again?… Probably not.
