We do sincerely apologise for the challenge the stairs presented. For two 82 year olds to manage 32 stairs with luggage is absolutely no small feat and we have the utmost admiration for you both! We are truly sorry that we did not have the means to assist you more adequately with your luggage and your feedback. We would always encourage guests to let us know ahead of arrival if they require assistance or have mobility considerations, so our team can do their very best to allocate a lower floor and provide as much support as possible. Really great property. I’ve stayed 3 times over the years so far and it’s consistently great. The staff are lovely, the location is perfect, even the one bedroom apartments HUGE and have everything you need. 772A has a great view of the sunrise and beach, highly recommend.

Room was comfortable but we had some really noisy people below us (when they were on the veranda). There were 3 generations including a baby. Whenever the lady was on the phone (which was frequently) she had it on speaker and was shouting as some older people do. We certainly know a lot about there family and friends including Steve was very sick. I overheard people in the pool refering to them as fog horns. Unfortunately is soured our stay and I can only rate it as "ok". I dont think we will stay with you again which is a shame as locaion is great,

The rooms are ok. But the beds are a bit old and uncomfortable. The wifi doesn’t work and there’s no room servicing available unless you stay 8 days. It’s 3 stars at best.

We booked online and booked an apartment but when we got there it was a hotel room. We complained and we were told the photos of the room we booked were of an apartment but we booked a room (not true). False advertising. They offered us another room but was just as bad. Room was stale and mouldy (curtains). Very run down. No sun or light (togs wouldn't dry outside even in 27 degree heat it was that dark). The staff were friendly and helpful but said there was nothing they could do. The sheets were clean but the rest wasn't, mouldy curtains, other people's things under the bed, dust and mouldy bathroom too. The location was perfect, the pool was exceptional but the room was below average and for a 5 night stay was disappointing.

I have personally reviewed your booking following your comments regarding the room type. Our records confirm that the room booked was a hotel room, rather than a one-bedroom apartment. I have also reviewed the room information and photos displayed online, and the room type booked does not advertise or indicate one-bedroom apartment facilities. That said, I appreciate that you were under the impression you had booked an apartment. If you have a booking confirmation, screenshot or other information showing that a one-bedroom apartment was booked, I would be very happy for you to send this directly to me so I can investigate this further with the booking channel. I am also concerned by your comments regarding the condition and cleanliness of the room, including the mould, dust and items found under the bed. This is not the standard we expect, and I will be following these matters up with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams. Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention. The standards that are maintained at this Accor property are exceptional . The housekeeping and garden and pool maintenance are outstanding . The only negative is the extremely weak internet connection which seems to be a Palm Cove problem rather than a Manyra problem.
