We had a very enjoyable stay; the room was comfortable, well-chilled for the warm days, and the restaurant served good food. The staff was friendly. What really disappointed us was the lack of a bar or restaurant where we could have a snack before we departed. As we departed in the afternoon around 15:00 hrs, the restaurant kitchen was closed, and we were sent to the Casino bar where we could have a Croque Monsieur. To get in, we had to go through an entire registration procedure, leaving information behind which we had no wish to do so for just a snack, but as we were rather peckish and most stores are closed on Sunday in Belgium, we did not have any alternative. In our opinion, it‘s absolutely ridiculous that we couldn‘t be served a snack from the restaurant. Especially since the casino bar seems to be using the same kitchen as the restaurant. We had to waste 20 minutes of our precious time on a registration procedure before we could have something to eat. We refused the free gambling voucher as we had/have no desire to gamble. Now, we have to spend even more time cancelling our casino membership as we have no desire to be a member of the casino and to have our information removed as per GDPR laws. We were also disappointed with the EV-charging facility; the front desk had no clue as to the power it is delivering, and according to your website it is a very low level only suited to Plug-in Hybrid vehicles and not for Full EVs such as our BMW iX3. As a result, we were forced to charge elsewhere. What also was remarkable is the minibar drinks being a different brand than the ones used in the restaurant and casino bar. I’ve enjoyed the San Pelegrino Aranciata en limone drinks; however, these were not available anywhere else on the property; odd, very odd!

Check in was a little long as there was just 1 person at counter for 12 minutes. My original room was a noisy with traffic however when moved riverside it was perfect and very quite. Rooms are modern and well designed. Above mot Mercure branded I have stayed in the past. Food was good although I never tried breakfast. Service in the hotel was above average,

The room was nice, nice view and clean but the tea and coffee had not been replenished, housekeeping were in the hall and rectified that. The AC would not cool down. Four times we raised this issue and only at 9pm were we advised we could change our room. 6 hours and 4 times contacting staff before this was offered. When my partner tried to explain the issue your staff were VERY rude talking over the top of him. On booking I called and was advised there was FREE parking. When I got there I was told it was 15€. I found your rates inflated when you have these issues. Your front desk people need some training I am sure you can figure out who was on the desk for our check-in and AC complaints.

It is a nice hotel breakfast with nice variety. Nice view from our room and really great that it has the wellness center. The min points will be that we were amazed the lack of staff that could speak English. We solved it using the translation app. Despite that staff was quite friendly.

Very satisfied with the room and the comfort, there's everything you could ask for from a 4-star rating. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the room was too cold... you can't have temperatures above 30 degrees outside and only 18 degrees inside! I had to open the window but the air exchange was insufficient so I was forced to turn on the hair dryer to heat the room... it doesn't seem possible to me.

Windows cannot be opened. And A/C was not working. No fresh air and room is moist. Did not get any sleep. Called receptionist in the middle of the night to have someone check the A/C but they did not send anyone as promised. Recommend room with window (avoid suite!!) Horrible experience.
