It's a budget Ibis, and for that everything was more than okay - good clean and cozy room with everything that I needed, polite staff, good breakfast that starts from very early morning so you can eat before your morning flights. The only downside for me was that the beds are a bit too stiff. The location is somewhat close to the airport - you can go by foot, which will take around 20-25 minutes. Probably not recommended if you have heavy luggage. Personally, I took a cab which costs 13 EURs - this can also be arranged by the hotel. A bit expensive for a 5 minutes drive, but it is what it is. There was a direct bus from the airport which I took to reach the hotel, I spent 6 EURos (even though it was like a 3 minutes drive). But I couldn't figure out if you can take the same bus to reach the airport from the hotel. In summary, if you have an early departure, or late arrival to the Charleroi airport, then I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the IBIS budget hotel for a morning flight from Charleroi airport. Even for a budget hotel, which does not have you expect much, I still feel it was just barely OK. Staff was very nice, accommodation minimal and in my particular room a slight unpleasant smell was there constantly. Low price hotel for sure but still just ok and would not stay again.
