While we were looking forward to our stay, we were very disappointed by the service at arrival. My 74-year-old mother and I arrived early and requested to leave our two small backpacks in storage while we explored the city. We were surprised to be told there was no space available for even two bags. In my experience traveling, I have never encountered a situation where luggage storage was denied to guests. This was particularly difficult for us, as it meant my mother had to carry her bag into the city to find external lockers. Even if space was limited, I would have appreciated an effort to accommodate at least one bag for her comfort. This lack of flexibility left us feeling quite disrespected."
