It was a nice stay

The ibis Dinant is indeed conveniently located next to the river and a short walk from the town's attractions, which many of our guests appreciate. However, we apologize for any inconvenience you faced during your interactions with the travel agent and our hotel. We understand that seamless coordination is integral to a satisfactory experience and we will look into how we can improve our processes. Regarding the room size, although all our rooms are the standard 18sqm in total, we strive to ensure they are comfortable and well-equipped for our guests. We regret to hear that the room did not meet your Gold member expectations. Additionally, we are sorry for the oversight regarding the invoicing process; this is not indicative of the high level of service we aim to provide. Nonetheless, we hope that the overall quality of your stay was enhanced by our dedicated 24-hour reception team and the modern amenities of our renovated hotel. Nice room with view of the river

It is wonderful that the room with its view of the river added to the enjoyment of your stay. However, we recognize the convenience a kettle in the room can provide. Our hotel design focuses on essential comforts, and while we do not offer kettles in the rooms, we do provide a 24-hour bar service where hot and cold drinks are available. We understand this is not the same as the comfort of preparing a drink in your own room and we appreciate you sharing this preference with us. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you enjoyed our freshly baked croissants as part of your breakfast experience. Just stayed for one night. Best thing about the hotel is the location which is on the river and 10 mins walk along the river to the town centre There is no hotel parking but there is public parking across the road (1.5/hr from 9am to 5pm and no longer free from 20th June 2024 onwards) - so parking costs can unfortunately add up The hotel though is quite dated so bathroom and rooms look tired. Facilities are basic even for a budget hotel - there is not even kettle to make a cup of tea in the room or an clothes iron.

While we do not have a private parking lot, we do offer alternatives such as nearby public parking. We understand that our accommodations may have seemed dated, and we would like to inform you that while we aim to offer modern and comfortable stays, certain features are consistent with the Ibis brand standards of being a budget-friendly option. Although we do not provide kettles or clothes irons in the rooms, we do offer a variety of hot and cold beverages at our bar, available 24 hours a day, for your convenience. We appreciate your feedback on these amenities as it allows us to consider future improvements. Nonetheless, we hope that the charm of Dinant and the convenience of our location provided a memorable experience during your stay. Well located, bad Hotel

Price-performance does not fit here at all. This is not reminiscent of a hotel but of a bad hostel! The room is very small and without additional services such as coffee machine, kettle, tissues or anything else. For the higher price with a view of the Maas, you get a window with a fly screen that is covered with spider webs and when you open it, the little spiders all come in. The room is not extremely clean either and no one feels addressed for maintenance, because the floor strips are lying around in the room. The breakfast buffet was the worst I've ever had, just for the orange juicer I was very grateful. The reception staff are very disinterested, you can be happy when they welcome you. Dinant is one of the most beautiful cities in Belgium and I will definitely come back, but certainly not to this hotel anymore! The two stars for the terrasse on the Maas side, the Location and the orange juicer.
