Very satisfied!! The only minor (!) quibble was that my key got demagnetized. It took me a while to figure this out and then I had to go back down and have it remagnetized. If this happens frequently, they should warn customers about keeping the key in your pocket (or too close to your phone?).

We spent two nights with my wife in this hotel. The room was a tad cold, but nothing unbearable. The shower is very well soundproofed from the room. The experience wasn't fancy by any mean, but it did the job for what we were looking for: sleep.

It was quite different than the other stays due to covid situation. However, i was not happy like the other times .. elevator got stopped 2 times, water issues, cleaning delays! Hope next time , this will be sorted out! Thank you

I have been staying in numerous Ibis Hotel over the past years and also other less prestigious hotels but never have I ever had such a bad experience. When we arrived at night after a wedding, we were not allowed to park in the hotel parking that we paid for because it was « full ». The parking offers more or less 10 spots for more than 80 rooms which is just so incoherent. (we realised later that the parking was not full because my brother found a place even though the receptionist told us not to go in the parking). Then, as we entered, we were exhausted from our event and we got yelled at by the most DISRESPECTFUL receptionist ever because we wanted to pay for the rooms in the morning (which is always allowed in an IBIS and even more for a Accor Hotel club member). Please be aware that I won’t let this story down.

I presented myself with a valid hotel reservation via Wallonie Pass and the Accor website and tried to check in at the reception. The receptionist did not accept the Wallonie Pass as means of payment although it is clearly stated on the website. I quote the receptionist ‘I am not familiar with how to process your booking therefore I will not accept you’. On my request to call a manager, or anybody responsible, replied ‘it is not my problem, I am just a front desk employee,next please’, and he ignored me completely. I called Accor Reservations and Wallonie Pass, where I got from both sides confirmation that I should be accepted. Upon asking him to listen to Accor on my phone’s speaker, he turned his eyes away and left the front desk. I decided to stay in a more welcoming environment in another hotel acceptong the Pass Being a travel industry professional on a private trip, this behaviour is unacceptable, and I will review my company’s travel policy to avoid Accor where possible

My first choice for this hotel was the location. Situated 10 minutes walking from the station, closeby the city center and the citadel. The room was basic although the bed was super comfortable.

I was kind of disappointed this time as I am a regular guest of Ibis Namur. Due to. COVID crisis, you eliminated the room service and u kept the same price of the room by night!! . This is actually not fair. How do u want us to clean the room and we are actually on a business trip..? Absent from early morning till late afternoon. Also the breakfast, u could have presented a list of preferences before the client eats whatever u find suitable. Thank you!

Hotel is well situated not far from the city centre. Check in and check out good and staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok but room very busy. Good that it had parking but could do something about the kerb leading into it- a bit on the high side.

guest not welcome, you are intruder among happy staff. They block your credit card and then charche for the room. The blocked is for ever although you are sending emails to unblick your money. Time and again.

The hotel was ok for an overnight stop and was handy to walk into the city centre. For those not venturing far there is an Italian restaurant next door. This was my 3rd Ibis Hotel on our way back from Italy and usually the breakfast is good. This time there was no fresh fruit and it was a bit of a bun fight so I was disappointed.

Thank you for your appreciation, I'm sorry to read that the breakfast quality didn't meet your expectations, we provide every day fresh fruits, appel, orange, bananas at least. BR.

Worst Ibis hotel

Rooms are cramped, worn out, with damaged furniture and wornout bedding. This is the worst Ibis Hotel I have ever stayed in and is an embarrassment to the chain. The first room we were given was on the 5th floor. On arrival on the 5th floor there was an over powering stench of toilet cleaner in the corridor. The room had a badly damaged desk, damaged walls, dirty marks on the walls and grey, not white bedding. I returned to reception to complain about the room and smell I was immediately given the room opposite and when I said about the damage and that the quality was very poor the manager and reception staff were not bothered in the slightest. The replacement room was slighlty better. There was still obvious damage to the walls and some of the bedding had holes in it but at least it was white this time. The stench of toilet cleaner came and went over the few days we were there and got to the point that it was burning the back of your throat. The beds are advertised as being the best quality with new mattresses while infact they are basic mattresses with a thin topper on them. They are not comfortable. On our final evening we were informed that the next morning the local marathon was going past and the road would be closed from 0600hrs. This meant that we had to find another car park with no security for our car. The marathon and road closure had not been mentioned at all until this point. On checking out the staff were not bothered about any of the issues raised. On our final morning my collegue left his leather jacket in the dining area of the hotel. Despite several attempts by both of us to ring the hotel over the next 4 days the phone is never answered and so have been unable to enquire if the jacket was handed in. This hotel is worn out, badly damaged with little customer care. I will not return to this hotel and feel that I have been overcharged for the room.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of inter rail trip round the Ardennes. This hotel I have used a few times before. The bedrooms have been renovated and choice for breakfast much improved. Nice staff in bar and restaurant.
