Frustrating Experience

As many I’m sure do, we booked here for the shuttle to Disney. To our dismay they canceled the shuttle (while we were at the park) due to inclement weather. THEY DIDN’T TELL ANYONE. We were sitting at the shuttle spot for 30 minutes (with 100 other people) until we decided to walk back to the hotel. A little snow may merit slower shuttle times but this was unacceptable, and the rest of our visit it also didn’t ride. Besides that, the hotel is average at best. There were a lot of random broken things (soap pump, step-on garbage can, clothesline). The thermostat isn’t adjustable without having the front desk do it for you. The pillows were extremely flat (and I’m generally not picky). When I asked for a second they were out of extras, so I can assume I wasn’t the only person sleeping in discomfort. I was also surprised that the TV only had a few channels and no streaming services hooked up to it… I thought that was fairly standard nowadays.

I am an elderly wheelchair user most of the time so I have to rate it 8/10 as the fire alarm went off & there was no provision made for me to get downstairs nor did anyone check if I had managed to get downstairs. Had this been a real fire I wondered what the situation would have been. I was helped down the stairs but it did raise concerns about my safety as not meant to use the lift in these circumstances.

Breakfast was great. DLP shuttle bus was amazing bonus. More towels without paying to get them washed would be my only issue.

The hotel’s location was convenient in terms of proximity to Disneyland Paris and the outlet mall; however, access from the nearest station was quite far. While it was positive that a shuttle bus to Disneyland was provided, unfortunately the return shuttle did not arrive as scheduled. Overall, the hotel was generally clean, but there were several issues with the facilities. There was an unpleasant odor coming from the dishwasher, the hot water quickly turned cold which made showering difficult, and the hair dryer repeatedly stopped working, making it impossible to dry my hair properly. In addition to these issues, there were serious problems such as our stored luggage being moved by a third party without our knowledge and the shuttle bus from Disneyland not arriving. As a result, it cannot be described as a comfortable stay. While the front desk staff responded sincerely at the time of each issue, resolution required involvement from a manager. We were told to wait for further contact, but no response has been received to date. Overall, this stay left me with a sense of distrust toward the hotel.
