I’d previously stayed in a F1 about 35 years ago so I thought this would be a good cheap and cheerful choice but this was not a pleasant experience. The hotel foyer smelt of smoke, our room dark and dingy. I found chewing gum on the mattress frame where I was trying to sleep and we didn’t appear to have been given bottom sheets, only mattress protectors.
