The hotel was conveniently located, and when we had any problems the staff were very helpful. However, we had trouble unlocking the door on both of our two nights at the hotel, which made our stay somewhat stressful.

I’d previously stayed in a F1 about 35 years ago so I thought this would be a good cheap and cheerful choice but this was not a pleasant experience. The hotel foyer smelt of smoke, our room dark and dingy. I found chewing gum on the mattress frame where I was trying to sleep and we didn’t appear to have been given bottom sheets, only mattress protectors.
