- cold (heater didn't work) - low water pressure in the shower - water temperature changing from cold to too hot - personel at reception slow for cheking in and cheking out (at 8:00am only one person attending and the subconsequent long cue) - had dinner once and the ordered porc, teh most expensive dish if I rememebr well, and it was overly cooked. once colleague ordered the same and idem.

As usual the mercure hotel was very good. The breakfast was also good, except the section of the hot meal (eg.English breakfast) Unfortunately there was a stupid argument with the reception lady and the night watcher on the issue of an extra large for my daughter's room on saturday ,2nd november..Many reasons were given that this was not possible. Only after I got angry and said I would mention this in my hotel appraisal form, the blanket was put in the room. Maybe as a retaliation (?) my wake up call for the next morning did not come through. Only one of the beds was made and had to request the second be made up. Breakfast was poor, everything missing and no re-makes (9am Sunday). Was told that this was because "you all decided to.come down at once" ended up buying breakfast externally. Staff was helpful and pleasant otherwise.

We were greeted warmly, explained everything, our kids enjoyed play area very much and tasty (and free!) kids menu. Room was very comfortable, albeit bathroom could use some freshening up, breakfast was delicious, parking easy and free. Everything really went super well, except when an employee at check out seemed to have no idea what express check out was and was very unfriendly. If not for her, would have given 10 stars hands down.

I've booked this hotel 2 times already for a visit to Val D'europe & Disneyland and both visits were very good, especially in comparison to the extremely/ridiculously overpriced outdated Disney hotels! The Mercure hotel is a nice, modern, clean hotel, very good price/quality, friendly staff, clean rooms, very good beds & pillows, good breakfast buffet & free parking! Downside: we had a room on the first floor (street side) and the windows are not very well isolated so we could hear the street noise..

We booked one night at this property and had one night connected to Disneyland park tickets with another property. Not only is the location very conveniently located to Disneyland (just two stops away) and the station is less than 5 minutes by walk. Also the front desk staff (blonde Lady with glasses) was very friendly and kind. She helped us in several situations, whether it was my lil baby that did throw up or arrange transportation to the other hotel late in the evening. She was just great!! Breakfast and the service was awesome as well. Great variety and the waiter did also explain what’s where to find. He took one of the kids to get her own hot chocolate so she felt really empowered and ready for the exciting day! Next time we’ll come to visit we’ll stay at this hotel again!

Perfect location for Disney

The girl at reception was wonderful. She explained how to get into the car park, take the train to Disney, changed a dinner reservation for us and brought us extra pillows! She even advised me of a special that they were having on the train that day an anti-pollution deal that gave unlimited travel for less than 2 tickets. The weather was quite hot and the a/c did not quite keep up but it was manageable. One day we came back to our room and the ac had been shut off which I did not appreciate. The location is very easy access to the train and Disney. I felt safe with my husband and child but I did notice some characters near the train station and kids loitering around the hotel. No one bothered or spoke to us though. The room was spacious and had great storage options. I liked the seperate toilet, shower and closet area, it allowed me to get into my things and shower without disturbing my family while they slept. Overall this was a great stay and we would stay here again if in the area.

The room was spacious, the staff was lovely, the location was perfect. Upon checkin we were greeted by a wonderful woman who went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. She explained the location and how to get to Disney, she delivered extra pillows to my room and most importantly she phoned to change a dinner reservation for us and sat on hold waiting for them to answer while she was bringing us pillows at the same time. They answered the phone while she was standing in my doorway and she took care of everything right in front of me. She was extremely friendly and should be appreciated. It was around 7pm on August 26. I did not get her name.

The room, hotel and location are extremely lovely and were more than enough than what I needed, which I was pleased about. However an unfortunate fire incident meant an evacuation was needed during the middle of one of the nights I stayed there, but that can’t be blamed on the hotel. What was particularly annoying was the housekeeping staff who kept knocking on my door every morning, despite me requesting my room not to be attentes to during my stay, as I would be sleeping in very late (to hours such as 3-4pm) due to my very late work shifts, meaning I came back to the room late, and started at hours such as 5-6pm.

I am sure you have received many complaints. My point to you is that the fire alarm was not used to wake guests but a member of staff banging on all door and shouting. We were not guided to go to an emergency point. I left my room 229 and used the fire exit and was the only person who did. I know this because the door was locked and I had to find a method to open it. I am not sure it was required to wake everyone anyway as the fire was in the car park. The morning staff were embarrassed and offered me a discount. Accor needs to run more frequent safety practice sessions with staff.
