Beautiful hotel and front desk was very helpful for check in. We arrived to the room and no air conditioning available. I asked to please have air since my wife had a medical condition but it was promised someone was switching the system for us to get some air but nothing. No response

We found the room, in particular the bathroom a bit dirty (coffee cups stains, dirt build up in the corners) however it was quiet and the breakfast was really nice.

Good location, but the parking area is small and not suitable for large cars. The rooms are small and do not offer sufficient storage space (wardrobes). There is a major issue with wastewater drainage: a persistent sewage smell throughout all floors, including our room. The staff acted as if nothing was wrong. In addition, there was wastewater leakage into the garage area, resulting in a strong and unpleasant odor. This is unacceptable.

We really liked the breakfast – it was tasty and varied – and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly, with many families and children, which was nice. However, what we did not like is that the hotel does not look or feel like a 4-star hotel. It is old and quite worn. In the room there are many signs of wear and damage, and you don’t feel like you are staying in a 4-star property. The price-quality ratio is not good. It would be more reasonable if it were cheaper and rated as a 2–3 star hotel. When you pay almost €200 per night for a 4-star hotel, you have different expectations, and unfortunately, our experience did not match those expectations. Before coming here, we stayed at another hotel from the same group (Novotel), also 4 stars and at a similar price, and the conditions there were completely different – much better. That is why we were quite surprised when we arrived here. I even mentioned at the reception that I was not satisfied with the room. I was told to come back the next day and that we would be given another room, but we didn’t return because we would have had to move all our luggage and we didn’t have the time. I still appreciate that the reception staff tried to respond to our request.(**I would also like to mention that the hotel we stayed at before was Novotel, just 5 minutes away – same area and similar price, but with much better conditions. This is not really acceptable, as it clearly shows that this hotel should either lower its price or star rating, or improve its standards. Regarding the reservation, I initially booked directly via email and phone. Later, I needed to extend my stay by one more night, but when I called, I was told they couldn’t add the extra night due to an issue with the reservation system and that I had to book it myself. Unfortunately, that didn’t work, which is why we had to stay one night at another hotel before coming here, as there was no availability for that extra night.**) Regarding the staff, some were kind and helpful, others not very professional. When we arrived earlier, one person at the reception took our luggage, but in the evening, when we came back to check in, there was someone else who did not seem to know anything about our reservation or that we were arriving with two children. The room was not prepared for four people – the sofa bed was not set up – and in the end, we had to arrange it ourselves. Overall, I believe the hotel either needs renovation or a lower star rating.

Nous regrettons également les désagréments rencontrés lors de la gestion de votre réservation et de votre prolongation de séjour. Ce type de situation ne reflète pas le niveau de service que nous souhaitons offrir, et nous comprenons parfaitement la frustration occasionnée. Nous allons revoir ce point en interne afin d’éviter que cela ne se reproduise. Concernant votre arrivée, nous vous présentons nos excuses pour le manque de coordination entre les équipes et pour la préparation insuffisante de votre chambre. Cela n’est pas conforme à nos standards, d’autant plus pour un séjour en famille. Votre retour nous permet d’identifier précisément les axes d’amélioration. Nous vous remercions néanmoins d’avoir souligné les efforts des membres de notre équipe, notamment à la réception.
