We stayed at this hotel as a family of three while planning to spend the next two days of weekend at Disneyland. Its location close to the park and to the RER was very convenient. The room was comfortable and very clean, with enough space for all of us The town was nice with many dining options.

We have stayed at your hotel several times before and have always been satisfied with our experience. Unfortunately, our stay from Tuesday, May 24, to Friday, May 26, 2026, did not meet the standards of service and quality that we have come to expect from your hotel. On Wednesday afternoon, we returned to our room and noticed that the door had not been properly closed after housekeeping had cleaned the room. We immediately brought this to the attention of the housekeeper. We would also like to mention that the door had not been locking properly from the beginning of our stay. On Thursday afternoon, we decided to take a nap around 5:00 p.m. At approximately 5:30 p.m., there was a knock on our door and, once again, a housekeeper was standing outside our room. We found this disruptive and inappropriate, especially at that time of day. On Friday, the day of our departure, we were informed that we could remain in the room until 12:00 noon before checking out. Nevertheless, at approximately 11:30 a.m., there was another knock on the door and yet another housekeeper appeared at our room. She then walked away, leaving me to close the door myself. We found this behavior extremely irritating and unprofessional. It is not the level of service we are accustomed to receiving from your hotel, and we therefore felt it necessary to bring these issues to your attention. We had a lovely stay, staff were friendly and helpful at each interaction. Although the trip used points to pay for part of the rate there were no problems during payment, very impressive!

Overall, we had a fairly positive stay at Hotel Mercure Marne-la-Vallée Bussy-Saint-Georges from May 8th to May 11th, 2026. The best part of the experience was definitely the staff: everyone we interacted with was always very kind, helpful, welcoming and available whenever needed. This made a very good impression and contributed positively to our stay. That said, I have to mention that, considering this is a Mercure hotel — a brand I have stayed with many times in the past for work — I was expecting a slightly higher standard, especially given the price of the stay. For example, in our room, the handle of the toilet/bathroom door was almost coming off: when pulling the door, the handle would come out together with the four screws. This did not feel particularly safe, especially when travelling with two young children, one of whom is only three years old. Also, the bathroom door made a loud squeaking noise every time it was opened, which was quite inconvenient when trying to get ready while the children were sleeping. On the other hand, breakfast was excellent. There was a good selection of both sweet and savoury options, and the overall quality was very good. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, both for reaching Disneyland Paris and for getting there by taxi from the airport. The hotel is literally surrounded by restaurants, takeaway pizzerias, kebab places and Asian food options, which is very convenient for families. There were some construction works by the municipality in the square in front of the hotel, which was not ideal visually, but to be fair, they did not disturb us much during our stay. Overall, a positive experience thanks especially to the excellent staff, good breakfast and great location, but I believe the hotel would benefit from better maintenance in the rooms to fully match the quality expected from the Mercure brand.
