It is also famous for its brie cheese, which has its own dedicated museum in Meaux!

Meaux is a small town, steeped in history, located on the outskirts of Paris and crossed by the Marne River and the Canal de L'Ourcq. It is also just 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris.

It was our second visit to the beautiful city Meaux and our second visit to Ibis styles Meaux which is always beautiful and very comfortable with great and friendly staff. We love our stay there

Rooms were very small and cramped. Rooms opposite the lift were disturbed all night with the sound of people using the lift so our sleep was interrupted. Not much space to move about. We had 1 out of the 4 rooms on a different floor to everyone else in our party which was not good especially as that was the room with the young children in. Access to the car park was difficult and cumbersome. I had requested the car park when I booked but I was then sent another email the day before asking if I wanted it, yet I had requested this a few weeks before when I booked and it hadn't been answered. Car park was underground and this was not mentioned - I have a large car and cleared the height limit by 2cm - and that was because my car was lower to the ground being fully loaded. Breakfast was very limited and items were dry and not very fresh.

Booked a family room with breakfast after joining the Accor privilege, being told this would give discount, when we arrived we were charged more than quoted by email and when I showed reception my email still did not reduce the fee! It would have been a lot cheaper to have booked through booking.com than through the Accor site as a member. Thought the breakfast was quite poor value really with little option and scarce supplies. Room could hardly move around in so all in all quite disappointed with our stay.
