First 2 nights the aircon was turned off but we could open the window. 3rd night we returned to find that someone had closed the window and it would not open. Staff said window was jammed, there was nothing they could do and the aircon had been turned on but was on the lowest setting so basically didn’t do anything to cool the room. They provided 3 fans to help us but refused to move us to another room. No compensation offered. It was 24 degrees outside and extremely hot in the room. I was travelling with a 3 year old and 5 year old. I have now cancelled the next 2 reservations (one in July and one in August) as having a window that won’t open (according the staff they jam all the time) and poor air con is not acceptable in the summer.

We would like to clarify that during this mid-season period, temperature perceptions can vary significantly from one guest to another—some may feel cold while others may feel warm. For this reason, we adjust our systems progressively. On the day of your arrival, the heating system had been turned off and the air conditioning system was switched back on. However, due to the size and complexity of our building, there is an unavoidable delay of approximately 24 to 48 hours before the change becomes fully effective in all rooms. We sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced regarding the temperature in your room, as well as the issue with the window. While our team did their best to provide immediate solutions, such as supplying fans, we understand that this may not have fully met your expectations, especially while traveling with young children. Please be assured that your comments are taken very seriously, and we are continuously working to improve both our technical systems and our service.
