We regret the inconvenience you experienced with your room keys and the temporary lighting issue on your floor. We also understand your disappointment regarding breakfast. Unfortunately, breakfast included in the reservation cannot be transferred to another day, even if your departure time prevents you from enjoying it. We are especially sorry to hear that you found some members of our staff unhelpful or rude. I booked this hotel in advance through the app for approximately €159 per night. After a long journey, when I arrived to check in, the front desk suddenly told me I owed an additional charge, bringing the total to €185 per night. When I asked why, staff fumbled around on their computer and eventually said, “oh, sorry, that was a system error” — with no real apology and no gesture to make up for the inconvenience. It felt as though they first tried to charge more, and only backed down once I pushed back and questioned it. The room itself was in poor condition. There was visible damage to the door — a dent that had simply been covered with tape instead of repaired. There were insects in the room. The bedding was stained, and the mattress was uncomfortable, making it very hard to get a decent night’s sleep. The overall cleanliness of the room was well below acceptable standards. On top of that, we were only given two large bath towels for the entire stay — no hand towels, no extras. Worse, the towels smelled strongly of chlorine/bleach, so strong that after drying off, our skin and hair smelled of chlorine too. It was a genuinely unpleasant experience. No one on staff acknowledged or apologized for the pricing mix-up or the state of the room. Between the attempted overcharge, the poor room condition, and the lack of any real customer care, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this hotel and won’t be returning.
