I arrived at the hotel by motorbike. I easily found the entrance to the underground car park, in which there was plenty of space. Once at reception, I was promptly checked in and found my room on the fifth floor, which was clean and comfortable, with a view over the Düsseldorf skyline. There was a well-stocked hospitality tray and, being a platinum member of the loyalty scheme, they had left me a selection of fruit and other snacks. The room had some handy features, including a pull-down table to put your luggage on and plenty of wardrobe space. Dinner consisted of a barbecue-themed buffet with a decent selection of meats and salads. At breakfast, there was a positively impressive, international range of hot and cold items, including waffles and pancakes for the Americans, eggs and cooked items for the Brits etc., breakfast cereals, and of course excellent bread and a good range of cheese and cold meats for the Germans. The restaurant also had plenty of room: unlike some hotels I have stayed in, capacity at breakfast time was not an issue. They did seem to be slightly understaffed: at dinner it was sometimes difficult to find a waiter to order drinks, and in the morning I had a long wait before I could check out and pay for parking, as the sole receptionist was helping another customer on the phone.

Soap dispenser missing, free bottle of water missing, not what I expected from Novotel.

Please add alcohol free chocolate croissant in breakfast menu. and labelling should be made clear based on vegan, vegetarian or non-veg. Also coffee-cream should be made available around coffee area.
